martigasin: the first game i ever played was a game, (i don´t remember the system) was a game that i dont remember the name.

you were a brithish cop (with the traditional bobby hat) and you were in a supermarket chasing thiefs . it was side scrolling and you need to jump shopping carts and duck i think it was toy airplanes. the game ended when you jump on top of the thief.

if anyone have played this let me know the name
I'm sure you're talking about "<span class="bold">Keystone Kapers</span>" on the <span class="bold">Atari 2600</span>. Here's a <span class="bold">gameplay video</span>. :-)

My very first game was Prince of Persia on PC, I remember I started it from the DOS prompt with cheats - "prince megahit" or "prince megahit 11" for the 11 level with cheats :)

I remember "Prince of Persia" and if not sure if you heard or saw of it, but its predecessor was "Karateka" which I played on the Apple IIe. Both very fun games!
Hi all,

My very first game was a game that I developed in BASIC :p At least, I tried ^^ I had to manually type tons of line from a magazine. Of course, I made several mistakes and never worked....

As for the first one that worked, I can't remember if it was Sim Ant or Minesweeper ;)

Of course I played "Karateka" also, but it came to me after "Prince of Persia" :) I remember I played Prince of Persia on a 5.25" floppy diskette that I may still have somewhere because I remember I treasured it a lot :)

I still have a plastic tub of 5 1/4" floppy disks in the garage from my TI-99/4a days. I'm afraid, however, that they are so old, the 'bits' fell off. :(
