As much as I can't stand cities, Melbourne is close to the top of the list of "if I had to live in a city". I'd probably choose Brisbane for the weather, waterways and greenery, but people-wise I've had many a good time in Melbourne :) Now Sydney where I grew up...stay away!

I like the US Midwest in general: the beautiful environs are easily accessible, and the general demeanor of the people provides a good fit for my personality.

Here in southwest Wisconsin, we're in an area shaped by glacier activity. The Mississippi river valley is gorgeous, the farmlands provide beautiful patterned greenery, we have a lot of wooded park lands to enjoy, and it's all easy to get to. And the driving / motorcycle riding is fantastic.

A full four seasons to enjoy, and though we tend to joke that the winters dominate it's actually split pretty evenly.

What I like about the house I live in is that it is far away enough from any big streets that there is absolutely no noise from traffic even when I open the windows but it is still situated central enough so I can reach the city center in about 20 minutes by public transport.

What do I like about where I'm at right now? Well, right this minute, I'm sitting in my office, and probably the best thing about that today is the fact that my office is in the basement. The A/C in our decrepit old office building doesn't really work, and it's heading up to 32C today, so at least being a cellar dweller means my office doesn't get too hot.

What I like about where I live is the view. I've attached a picture I took when we were building the house - this is the view from my living room, which happens to be facing east, so I can sit in my living room in the morning, have a coffee, and watch the sunrise on the prairies.

What I hate is the wind. Here's a little known ancient chinese proverb: With great view, comes great wind.

Right now I am in a small village far from city for a voluntarily service.
There is no pollution and the water is clean.
Nearest gas station is six miles away.
People are friendly even for strangers like me.
This village is situated on uneven land.
Its like U shape with road on one corner and village on another.
Sunrise and sunset looks amazing from here.

I would try my luck for Ziggurat.
