zlaywal: Gotta pass on that. Don't want to make an account just for one game while knowing that I likely would never make a purchase there ever

Historical low here is $3.74, still within my price range.
It's doubtful that any Bethesda game will ever go below 50%, at least that's how it's been for the last 2 years on both GOG and STEAM.

Luckily I got my version here on GOG, but even if I hadn't, I doubt I would ever get anything on their store.

You're right. I actually browse Steam store after making that post and the current anniversary discount is indeed 50%. So if GOG held a weekend sale post this spring one, I bet it only 50% discount.

No big deal, I could wait for a better price down the road while crawling the Witcher series. It is on my wishlist but I'm not buying anything that not close to historical low.

ADD: now i see that GOG also have Elder Scroll on sale and it was 50% discount. Maybe later Bethesda.

In hindsight, that is the best way of doing things. Unless nostalgia gets in your way, or you are really hyped about a game, I agree that you should never buy a game that isn't at a reasonable historical low. Especially if you don't intend to play it in the next 24 hours.
Have a boxed copy which works just fine. It does need about 100 patches though.
Will get a GOG copy sometime.
Have a cd version, steam version and gog version (backed up) dont think i need to get another copy. Now if they would release skyrim here that would be even better

50% not enough to warrant buying another copy. Maybe later, indeed.

Probably the worst launcher. Downloaded and launched it. All I see is a big black window and nothing else. Quit and relaunched. Same thing. I'm going to try re-installing this but thank you for sharing this and it's also great to see that the game might have no need for it after downloading and installing it.
I got it on my Bethesda account.
