I tweeted Mike Roush, co-founder of Gaijin Games and co-creator of the BIT.TRIP series:

Me: Do you have any plans to bring the BIT.TRIP series to GOG.com?
Mike: nothing super concrete but when we have the rest of the series ported we might!

[UPDATE: The entire series has since been ported to PC & Mac]

Vote for the games on the wishlist:

Bit.Trip Runner
Bit.Trip Runner 2: Future Legend Of Rhythm Alien
Bit.Trip Beat
Bit.Trip Core
Bit.Trip Fate
Bit.Trip Flux
Bit.Trip Void
Bit.Trip Complete

There are only two games in the series that have yet to be ported to the PC: FATE and FLUX. Vote for the entire series on the wishlist:

BIT.TRIP BEAT
BIT.TRIP CORE
BIT.TRIP FATE
BIT.TRIP FLUX
BIT.TRIP RUNNER
BIT.TRIP RUNNER 2: Future Legend Of Rhythm Alien
BIT.TRIP VOID
I wonder if he will receive this reply from GOG :
"We’ve taken a look at your titles, you have a great art style! Unfortunately, however, we feel that the games would not be a good fit for GOG and we are not confident in the sales potential of the games on our site. Additionally we have a very busy upcoming release schedule with many great games already waiting for release. For these reasons I’m afraid we will have to pass on your titles."
I played Bit Tri Beat and Runner, I guess they are nice Retro throwbacks, but they really aren't anything special. I'd rather play Combat for Atari

The oldest game in the series BIT.TRIP BEAT is from 2009.

Yeah, I've seen it, it's still just a runner, a genre that's not really that interesting to begin with. Bit Trip is really style over substance, but some people really like the style, so I guess Gaijin found an audience.

4 years.older games have been on sale bundled.end of lined pretty much.like someone else said the gameplay is pretty ordinary (I have them and played them too).the soundtracks were cheap in some music bundle.....do u want go to bring old indie games to Gog which would be worth around 1 buck at the most .

While I don't agree with the premise that they're only worth a buck, yes, I would like to see GOG release as many well-made indies as possible, regardless of their age or how many times they've been available in bundles.

All the Bit.Trip games have now been ported to PC and Mac. When is the complete series coming to GOG?

I expect a rant about the refusal on the "responses from publishers" soon.
This seems similar to Fract Osc but without the shiny graphics.

Have they all been ported to Linux too? I think Runner 2 is on Linux, but I don't recall if the others are on Linux too.

Bit.Trip Beat, Bit.Trip Runner and Bit.Trip Runner 2: Future Legend Of Rhythm Alien have been ported to Linux. I couldn't find information on the rest.
