I actually did that at a recent party, along with the African Anteater Ritual (<- people actually followed along, like in that move!), Casting-a-Line, Backing-up the bus, and few David Byrne rip-off moves.

I've never been much of dancer, though. So it all must have looked fairly ridiculous.

Depends on the gradient of the bank, and your speed.. Go fast enough for the gradient and you could well do your banking there.
