Cadaver, by the Bitmap Brothers, was one of the earliest games I played, and I will always have fond memories of it. I loved the physics in it; you could, for example, even bypass some puzzles by creating staircases out of the various scrolls, potions, and other crap you found, to get over obstacles. I wish that the original source for it could be rescued, so we could reimplement it for modern systems, maybe even create an editor for creating new content.
Agreed, it brings back a lot of good memory. I own the two previous books from the same author and I can say they are really good and worth having. However the link was already posted here.
It's a good idea to use that thread for any crowdfunding related projects.

Did anyone actually complete Cadavar? Fantastic game though :D
How's the quality of the other books they've published? I've been eying on their other company historics. Is the quality of concept art and stuff worth the price tag?

Surely it is. They had special care for details and the books (in particular the megadrive one) is full of colorful artwork on nice paper.
As I said, I backed the previous project and I'm really satisfied with it.
What I'm curious about is why their ORIGINAL games haven't been released.

I did, eventually. Although admittedly not in the "correct" order. I discovered early on that you could swap around the files for each castle level, so I ended up playing all the levels at the same time, and eventually completing them out of order. :)
No tier for a PDF version, by the look of it: £30 for the physical book or nothing. It looks as though that's standard for readonlymemory.vg but the previous book Kickstarters I've seen have tended to have digital reward options.
