Learning that a game that was just released in Japan and is planned for release in the west (the Catherine remake) is extremely transphobic. While it's not a game I would have purchased (even if I had access to the platform and didn't have ethical issues with it), this is bad enough that, even if it were a game I was really looking forward to, it would be a dealbreaker. (Also, this means that I will need to anti-recommend this game on any games recommendation topic where someone else recommends it.)

Also, what if it happened to the sort of game I would have been otherwise interested in?
