Six months since i ordered my CPU for my desktop build. SIX FUGGIN MONTHS!!!
Sigh, it seems like one of my oldest HDD is breathing its last breath and counting the days.

And this is after my 14 years old 2.1 speaker finally broke down this week. My monitor don't have a built-in speaker and now I resort to use a generic 2.0 speaker, which even older at 19 years of age. Needless to say that the sound is terrible XD

Just when the COVID economic malaise finally hit my wallet. The year 2020 is somehow still manageable, but this year have been tough.

Six months???

What, were they cobbling the chips out of the base materials by hand? o.0
Lost my keys. Happy fucking birthday.
It hurts to lift my left arm past a certain point today.

(Probably a result of the injecting I received, or rather my body's immune system response to it. At least it's not actual COVID-19.)
Most of my enemies in Battletech would spam LRMs at my mechs. DAMN IT!
Living in the countryside (almost in the middle of nowhere) is a very pleasant and stress-less experience, even for a city dweller like me. It's the human aspect (especially those I share space with) that ruins he entire fecking experience, and the whole point of being in the countryside. Thankfully, it won't be long and I'll be back to familiar territory, and a city-slicker once again...
I am running dangerously low on vodka and may soon have to go buy from the state shops at €23 for a bottle (.7 litre). Alright, maybe not the most serious complaint but I got used to never having to buy liquer from the state shops. Please people, hang in there for a few more months and we should halt this bloody Covid--19.
About to go under in business unless i can actually get the cpu i ordered 6 months back - or have several hundred byms fall in my lap to buy an overpriced low end gpu and higher grade cpu.

scalpers and bitminers can go play on the fugging motorway!

Edit: and those NFT fuggers too!

I get that from some porn sites.
Life was finally starting to go somewhat back to normal financially after all the covid hits, and now our TV died. I wonder what's next. Hopefully we can at least go back to our proper jobs soon enough, if covid decides to chill.
Good news is, i managed to get my stepdads old junker laptop to dual boot Lubuntu and AndroidTV and it's surprisingly functional considering i shoved a 13 year old HDD into it, so at least some TV will be had by us.

I would put this in the "What made you happy today" thread.
Unless you use your TV to play video games...

When i'm on the old xbox, yes, but we generally use it to watch movies and shows (and as general background noise when we sleep). As for actual TV channels, we avoid those like the plague, way too much advertising to be watchable.

BACK TO THE PIT!
There are moments in life where you feel that you have no luck at all. My dad has Alzheimer and is getting worse everyday. My mom is really tired of looking after him and is coming to a point where she can't anymore. I've been trying to find a solution for this problem, like a residence where he can stay. No luck until now. Either the prices are so high that we can't afford it, or the place has no vacancy. Other times we don't even get an answer back.
