Support finally got back to me about my broken Summer Sale order from the 10th. Exactly two weeks, and instead of just giving me my refund, they asked if I would take store Credit instead. Meaning I had to reply. Meaning it will still take even longer to resolve. I understand they have been busy, but two weeks just to delay a resolution? I would not call this good Customer service.

To be fair, this is the first major Order related stuff-up. So while I am butthurt, its not like Ima ragequit omg boicot dem nao or anything. In fact I even told them I'm happy with store credit, as long as it is not limited in any way. Quite confidant I'll spend way more than the credit here in the future anyway.

I expect they asked this due to the size of the order, for book-keeping or whatever. This is complete speculation. Just seems.. strange they asked as the only other time something messed up that required a refund (I blame my Government for that, not gog) they just gave me the few bucks refund with out even asking. Mind you, it did only take about three days, and it was during a sale.

It certainly doesn't help that Witcher 3 is still relevant on the site. With it, myriad tickets have been sent, either for technical problems for the game itself, technical problems for Galaxy, technical problems with hacked accounts. Add the big sale so close to the release of the game and it was a recipe for disaster for the support team.

Regarding your previous refund, did it perhaps occur before the introduction of store credit (August 2014)?

Sq2: Hey that's awesome. Did you enjoy Sam & Max Hit the Road? It's on my summer play list. Hope you enjoy Sam & Max Save the World.

Grargar: Indeed I did. It was a pretty funny game, with my only complaints being that moving in one of the large areas can be somewhat slow at times, and that it isn't always apparent that an area might lead to another one (no arrows to point where you can go for example).
I'm looking forward to the Sam & Max series. Thanks for the information about Sam & Max Hit the Road I'll keep that in mind.

Sq2: What game are you playing first?

I started the Longest Journey

Pardinuz: Good choice. :)

I'm starting with Star Control 1.
I don't think I own Star Control, let me know how it goes and if you enjoy the game.

That's good to hear. How long in total did it take support to send you the new key?

All total 5 days, but would have been 3 if they had sent me the key the first time they responded (Told me to check my spam folder)
