Rusty_Gunn: MAYBE IF GOG got the Half-life series without compromising the GOG's stance on DRM & and all.

Matruchus: Or maybe Quake series :)
With Bethesda (which does control Id Software) being listed that is a possibility

rtcvb32: Somehow i don't see that as a big selling point... Maybe the portal series, but not halflife...

Then again, i don't care for halflife and i enjoyed portal... I remember getting the orange box ONLY for portal 1. Later played halflife 2 and found it... okay... Besides... I can see the headlines...

GET HALFLIFE ON GOG!!!... [tiny]10 years after everyone's beaten it and it's gone out of relevancy[/tiny]
this headline would get a WTF out of the "Steam is PC gaming crowd" though
Gabe Newell endorses GOG.COM

ashwald: NOLF and the sequel! And Tron 2.0 and Star Wars Episode I: Racer and Starship Titanic and Oni and....
Yes, I forgot to mention NOLF 2 and Quake 1&2. And Discworld! All three Discworld games!
Getting permission from Microsoft and creating their own Windows 98 emulator. ;-)

And assuming the Bethesda / id Software stuff does happen, that'll be pretty darn huge too (for non-Steam users).

What a great game, Half-Life. A collection of bits of genius.

Best fuck'n boss battle ever. Top 5 at least.

Tarm: How the HELL are you going to top releasing The Gold Box games in the future?

PetrusOctavianus: They could release Elite, the game of a lifetime.
Hmmm. That would be a tie. :)

Yeah I missed your reply earlier...
They could top it with Bethesda. ;)

Grargar: They could top it with Bethesda. ;)
Not for me. SSI and SSG was my absolute favourite publishers of games back then. :)
