For me personally, Skyrim Legendary Edition appearing on GOG would have significant symbolic value, even though it can be already considered a pretty aged AAA game. A bit like System Shock 1-2 had lots of symbolic value as classic games becoming available once again.

Obviously that is not the game discussed here, if it is indeed some day-1 AAA title coming to GOG. That's nice I guess, but I am not that excited at the moment as I don't even know what interesting AAA games are going to appear in the near future. I'll get excited when I learn what that game is.

I don't know, personally I still think it was Dying Light and that the "concurrent with global release date" part wasn't to be taken too literally and just meant "a couple of weeks later" instead of "a couple years"

Regardless I just found out Cyberpunk 2077 is coming here... Im going to start creating my android replacement as i wont be able to work anymore after its release...
