From various threads and updates, I think GOG do have backups of their old installers.
The biggest problem is, GOG's management is really bad.

They often provide duplicated files, miss some files, and often forget to update patches.

After they provide Galaxy-bundled and Classic installers at the same time, their work quality is worse than before.
