There ya go !! Perfect. I really like that idea. Now we need to think of what fruit would go well with Jack Daniels. *grin*

Raisins infused/marinated with/in ginger ale, sweet vermouth or lemon-lime juice maybe? ;)

Maybe, I too, need to give this some thought. I was over at the same forum where you just posted .

marianne: I googled the soapstones...great idea. I saw what they looked like (clear would be cuter), but, hey, freeze them, keep them handy, AND no diluting.
Just don't engrave them in your glass of Jack. ;)

chevkoch: Here is a just one related link. Google has more.

"Serpentine, soapstone, and greenstone may contain asbestos, which can cause asbestosis, lung cancer, mesothelioma, and stomach and intestinal cancers."
Among many other things, ThinkGeek is selling the Vermont soapstone anyway.

Has this been verified asbestos-free?
I'm not playing now. >:-[
Um what is wrong with a martini shaker... smaller amounts chilled immediately ;-p

Oh and there is this invention...it's called a freezer. My expensive vodka lives there and is perfectly chilled for the visitor (and my very occasional) use ;-p
the test is not testing any more :(
The test is being tested, what a quiz!
Waaat ??? I didn't know you could put a glass bottle in the freezer. I thought it would explode. I don't want to test til you test.
Tested went to Harrison Krix's (volpinprops) shop and interviewed the king of prop building. I wanna make things now.

A glass bottle of water. Spirits are a different story.

A few years back, friends came for a visit and one of their kids hid a bottle of coke in the freezer so no one else would get it. When they left and were backing out of the driveway, the boy yelled that he wanted his coke. I went into the house, opened up the freezer, grabbed the bottle, but it was broken...my hand was badly cut. I went to the ER for stitches.
So, is it the alcohol that keeps it from breaking ?

Since you mentioned Vermont soapstone specifically above, I figured you meant to say that this particular soapstone does not contain asbestos. But you meant something else?
