As I have said many times before, the monumental effort of organizing the biggest community giveaway time and again requires a lot of effort as well as coordination. My deepest thanks and appreciation to Sachys and foxworks for continuing to keep this wonderful GOG tradition alive. In particular I would like to express my immense gratitude and admiration for foxworks for single handedly managing this giveaway in the absence of Sachys due to his PC and internet woes.

It is indeed quite remarkable and really amazing that even if RL issues intervene he still takes out the time to do draws for this giveaway, so major kudos and respect to him for this selfless invaluable service for the members of the community.

Little reminder that this is ongoing, though somewhat "on hold" from the prize draws end due to the recent forum / account changes and some tech / day to day issues for foxworks and myself.

The biggest impact, it seems, comes from the new chat system and awaiting the PM archives - until this is resolved we're holding back from doing anything as we used the old PM system a great deal and have a massive amount of stuff to go back through (note all my own saved records of stuff were lost when my HD blew).

I kinda figured the missing messages were going to mess a lot of things up.

Next time, consider backing up in the cloud too, Yandex.Disk offers easy sync and several GBs of storage (doing some tasks -like installing an extension or the windows client- , will award some more -I have 210GB-)

I have (across various services) over 100GB online storage.

I dont have the internet speed to be able to utlise it in the manner you suggest though sadly. besides, my working files folder for graphics came to over 60gb and there was only about ten /twelve files.
