Some progress pics for Sarmizegetusa, the penultimate Caesar 3 military level. Some crazy large armies attacked here. Don't think I've ever suffered so many losses in a level.
Featured for the first time is a new city block design that I think is the best yet. I'm extremely excited to try it out on the penultimate peaceful level, Londinium, where space isn't such an issue as it was here.

Batroidvania ...aka Batman: Arkham Asylum

Haven't played this in a number of years. This is my third playthrough now with my GOG copy. That should tell you enough about how much I enjoy the game since it's rare for me to play most games more than once even. :)

I'm also itching to do a third playthrough, and of Arkham City after that :) They're among the very few games where I chase 100% completion because I just don't want the game to end

The advantages of 90s 2D graphics - it ages very well, or rather it didn't age at all (I suppose it would've a bit if there was no large widescreen resolutions available)

Playing Doom 2 in gzdoom with the Brutal Doom mod for the first time. So much fun, these games never get old!

I've only ever been able to beat Lugdunum once or twice (awful level topography), each time by the skin of my teeth. So with a little better understanding of the mechanics I decided to take a break from the campaign playthrough and re-try it. Came out ok:
