drinnen: So I found out 460hp was not enough to take a 55t Haul Truck Chassis from Stavanger to Oslo.
I think I can, I think I can... nope I can't
ariaspi: Do you have double or single axle back wheels? That matters too.
It was a 6x4 just not enough power. I had an even more embarassing situation early in the day was taking a 61t locomotive to southamption and got off the train at folkstone started up the ramp and stopped dead once the full weigh of the trailer was trying to go up here.
Happily I've since rectifies the stavanger-olso situation, I was looking at my personal truck collection and realised the other Renault has more power (thought they had the same) and was about to switch to my one of those when I remembered it predated the 6 wheeler option for renaults. So I bought a new truck which took a while since I had to make sure it had enough lights to let me see across europe at night, I also stuck in a 16 gear transmission instead of my regular 12.
And I made that hill (very slow) my bitch. Despite desperate down shifting I still came to a halt, but locking the diff and letting loose in first I got it going, tried shifting to 2nd but kept losing speed. And as you can see I had appreciative audience behind me. (No doubt all clapping and wildly cheering).
