Matewis: Took on an ESO dungeon with a buddy of mine. This here is the final boss. Those lava stream really, really hurt
I keep hearing that ESO world's is better fleshed out and has more interesting stories and quests than something like Skyrim/Oblivion. Is there any truth to that?

Even with such a low bar as Oblivion (since you didn't mention Morrowind :P), definitely not. ESO's world is bland and generic in the way so many MMO worlds are.

Uhm no I'm afraid I wouldn't say so. Haven't played Skyrim yet myself mind you, but I've played a lot of Oblivion and Morrowind. Brace yourself for a long answer :P

Is it better fleshed out? Well, it is quite massive, very pretty, and is pretty well stocked with interesting things around every corner. Just wandering about a zone you won't ever be starved of anything to do, and I'll confess that I often find the exploration very enjoyable.
However, what makes something like Oblivion better fleshed out for me is that it feels more like a living breathing world. People have lives and go about their daily business. A shopkeeper dude gets up in the morning, tends to the shop and goes to sleep at night. On Sundays he might close shop and hang around the temple. And if you kill him then he's gone for good. That's immersive, and as an mmo ESO doesn't have that. There are several other such typical mmo constraints that makes the world less 'real' compared to something like Oblivion:
- You can't pick up / steal anything you want, and then place it down wherever you want
- City/town guards are invulnerable
- There are zones, and you can only transition between zones at certain nodes. That is, not at all like even WoW where zone borders can be crossed almost anywhere.

More interesting stories and quests? These are all pretty well voice acted, and often the stories themselves are quite interesting with several quests taking you across zones with characters/events shared across multiple quest lines.
The problem most (definitely not all) of these quests face are how absolutely trivial they are to complete, to the point that you don't even really have to listen/read all the dialogue. Just follow the quest pointers: talk to this guy -> kill these mobs -> find 7 marked flowers in this region etc... It makes it a hell of a lot less captivating regardless of whether or not the quest in question has an interesting story.
Though to be fair here and there you will find more involved quests, with some actual tricky fights, especially in the main quest line. But overall Oblivion and Morrowind's quests definitely felt far more captivating, and gave me a greater sense of accomplishment when I completed them.

If someone want's to get into ESO they have to understand that it is undoubtedly an mmo, no matter how it tries to disguise it. It simply isn't Oblivion/Skryim as an mmo. It's an mmo that happens to take place in the same universe, and which tries to recreate that universe's atmosphere. An entirely separate question then would be what it's merits are as an mmo set in that universe. And here I think ESO really shines.
Just finished Battle Chaser: Nightwar. A nice game despite three crashes and a lot of typos in the German subtitles.

Not sure whether to continue Wizardry 7 or play something completely different.

Playing a pedal bike game with rogue-like elements, called Descenders. Not the sort of game I would ever expect to do the rogue-like thing, but It seems to work quite well. Its the perfect game to play when I just need to kill a few minutes. I don't really see myself sitting down with it for longer sessions though.

Look at the screenshots below for the answer. ;) This last mission was hell; after the invasion from the east and west side of Tokyo, i was trying to reach the two primary victory points (VP) before reaching the middle of the city for the third VP. By the time i reached it, Japanese troops tried to break the supply route from the east (you can see how many red dots appear on the minimap) and essentially crippling half of my army, potentially losing the mission as well. At the same time, Japanese troops were closing from the north-west and it was then when i decided to deploy my two nuclear bombers: the first one was to hit the Japanese forces that tried to flank me (but the bombing didn't happen), while the one pictured below was to hit that little island so i could move in and capture the third VP, effectively terminating the mission as well as the war.

Aww man! You ruined the sci-fi twist ending. You should have used spoiler tags or something.
