Nexus: The Jupiter Incident
Finally completed the campaign.
The last mission is a complete cakewalk, surprising considering the mission before it was very challenging (i had to replay it a few times with different type of loadout and stategy for my fleet before i could get it done) and disapointing considering you just have your ship, no more fleet battle or anything interesting like that, just follow waypoints and close portals with your new special gun
While for the whole campaign the story has been interesting and engaging, the conclusion once you complete the last mission was just stupid.
Anyways, it was a good game, but sadly the replay value is very low (as most of the missions are about figuring out the best way to complete them without losing a ship) unfortunately so you probably will not play it more than once.
( i have read this mod can do skirmish vs AI :
http://arparso.de/nexus/ but didn't tried )
Too bad they didn't made a 4x mode too along the campaign, as originally the game was supposed to be a 4x game (a part of the Imperium Galactica series) but was abandonned before a different developers made it into Nexus the Jupiter Incident, you can see the galaxy map from the 4X is still there with enemy/allied fleets , but they now serve no purpose.
