When a mission has a major quest line NPC join you along with your own follower, it's nearly certain things are gonna get ugly.

Are you limited to 1 follower (out of NPC joining for a mission) in Skyrim or can you have more at the same time ?
I remember in Oblivion i had a few following my character

Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the finale

After leaving the task of cleaning the remnant of the mercenaries troops to the Yaaxils, it was time for Lala Craft to go and claim the mcguffin power.

Climbing to the ritual area on top of the highest temple (why don't they make their ritual on the ground level, would be so much simpler) , Lala was noticing an eclipse was starting .

That was probably in par with the prophecy with the sun dying or the world dying or something like that.

Once on location, Lala saw that the leader of the mercenaries had started the ritual to get all the power to himself in order to become the god of the cosplayers.
"Such an idiot, oh well time to stab." Lala was thinking.

"spoiler" happened
After a good amount of ambushing, stabbing and machinegunning , that was it : finally Lala had claimed the mcguffin powers !
"The Precious ! Mine ! it's mine !" Lala was screaming happily

Crimson Fire and the Yaaxil sisters arrived after the action , having annihilated the mercenaries.
"Lala quickly, come there , we need to complete our version of the ritual so you can give back the mcguffin powers and we can keep guarding it forever."

Lala turned toward the Crimson Fire
"No." she replied

"Lala it's not the time for a joke ! come back ! you can't be the sun ! it's not possible, the game devs don't want that !" said the Crimson Fire

"No Gollum, the power is mine ! it's all mine ! now goodbye suckers." Lala said with a big evil smile and she floated away into the sky with a maniacal laugh.

"What the hell ? This makes no sense, it's so stupid .. it can't be " the Crimson Fire said in front of the completely puzzled Yaaxil ...

A few days later, at a Solar Observatory Telescope station somewhere in Peru, one of the observers discovered something

Observer : "Chief, it's incredible, i discovered something unbelievable !"
Chief Observer : "Let me see ... hmm, what is this ... the hell is that ? "
Observer : "You see it too ? I'm not going crazy right ? "
Chief Observer : " No i'm seeing it too, unless we're both going crazy, this is utter madness."
Observer : "Yeah , the sun is ... holding a knife ? "

@Sanc - Skyrim allows you to have only 1 follower of your choosing, and you don't have to have a follower if you don't want to. The player must earn his follower. For example, Rayya was provided to me after I did many missions for the Jarl of Falkreath. Also, I could have had a different follower, Lydia, after doing some missions for the Jarl of Whiterun. Since most quest lines in Skyrim give the player a temporary follower specific to a mission, or having a follower is a disadvantage because they can't sneak, you can play Skyrim entirely without a follower. I remember in Oblivion there being no player-selected followers. Instead, the quest line or mission assigned one or more followers and they left after completion. That's unfortunate because Oblivion has more variety and is more fun than Skyrim and I'd like to have a follower of my choosing to play it through. Maybe there are mod at Nexus Mods for this but I don't like using mods except for patching bugs or some simple quality-of-life improvements.
^^ This playthrough featuring Lala made the game more fun than vanilla Lara. The visuals are stunning and upcoming The Elder Scrolls VI (Hammefell) will be impressive if it offers views similar to Lala's adventures. It's amazing how environments can contribute to a game as much as characters and even game play. It's like when I first played Styx Shards of Darkness that GOG gave away and I took because it looked interesting even though I'd never played a third person game to that point. The environment was so creative and rich that I was instantly hooked. So, what's next after Lala?

I remember one of the followers i was always taking in Oblivion was a mod : Vilja , it was the most detailled follower in the game, the character was talking often, had an actual voice , and added side quests related to the character story.

I have heard that the Vilja mod was converted to Skyrim, can't say more as i never played that specific game, but if the Skyrim Vilja is as complete as the Oblivion version is, that's a must have to add more "life" to your travel

Thanks. I found it at Nexus. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/28977 so I will check it for my next Oblivion playthrough. I wonder if Vilja can be changed to other Elder Scrolls races? Or maybe there are other babe mods for Oblivion. Nothing cheesy like sexy mods, but real followers who can talk and contribute to combat like what you posted.

* Edit - Another one https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/55255 who sounds like Rayya.

0. Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition new game testing the screenshot command.

Before replaying my yearly Shadowrun Returns/Dragonfall/Hong Kong , decided to do a nostalgia run into the old genesis version of Shadowrun on an emulator

And while the clunky-ness of the era is still there as expected, the game is still one of the best Shadowrun (it was much better than the more linear SNES version) , it had plenty of great elements that made it fun to play, too bad the recent Shadowrun didn't had that kind of more open world feel.

There was a mod named Shadowrun Unlimited (for Shadowrun Dragonfall) that tried to bring back the open world feel to the game.
Too bad it was mostly abandonned and so buggy, there was so much potential., though last time i checked it was a year ago maybe someone revived its development meanwhile

Good that I bought Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition on sale. It plays well, looks pretty good, but it's overly busy and some of the load times are brutal!

1. Morning in Concord seen from atop the Museum of Freedom.

2. As above looking north.

6. First time donning my power armor.

9. Downtown Concord, using my power armor to be rid of the deathclaw monsters and mutated human raiders.

Moving forward in time, Shadowrun Returns

While it's not the best of the trilogy (my favorite being Shadowrun Dragonfall ) , it's still has a good shadowrun atmosphere. The story takes place in Seattle like the 32 years old game did so some areas names may sound familiar.
In the early part you'll meet the player character of the SNES version of the old game (the Genesis version had a different guy)

For the anecdote, this Dead Man Switch story has been adapted (with some changes) into a mod for the last game of the trilogy (Shadowrun Hong Kong) : https://www.nexusmods.com/shadowrunhongkong/mods/21
Though i prefered to play the original as it was, it's worth it if you don't have Shadowrun Returns.

^ Those isometric games are always cool to look at but I find them both cute and unrealistic. They often use dramatic lighting. For example, GOG gave away Brigador and I play it sometimes but only for a couple of hours. It's interesting to note that the Fallout series began in isometric style, then switched to full 3D after the first two installments.
Shadowrun Returns

The plot thickens !

On the investigation around Sam's murder, we learned that there's apparently a serial killer involved .

Tracking him or her (as at that point it's still unsure if this serial killer is a man or a woman) with some hired runners on one of location of the serial murders , it's thanks to a shaman that we got some good hints from the spirits that witnessed the event.

And later thanks to some retired decker extraordinaire, we hacked the matrix to get more clues in addition to the spirits ones. This gave me a name and an address.

There will be some retribution for Sam very soon .

syscrusher: 16. Two arrows shot, two kills.

17. Postcard view of Whiterun, Skyrim.

19. The player's new ride.

21. A province divided cannot stand.
Roberticus... lmao
Dusted off one of my all time faves, Rebel Galaxy. Own a heavily armed combat freighter, take contracts, and help your aunt settle some scores.

0. Start by outfitting a Hammerhead class ship, and renaming it Red Oktober, before embarking on my first mission to help this space station's bar owner complete a transaction with one of his suppliers.
