syscrusher: ^ In a similar theme as above.
1) Complex dungeon requiring a lot of platforming, along with killing large ogres and trolls.
2) A hidden control releases a bridge.
3) Harlun's Watch town spokeswoman, Drarana, is most grateful for my finding out what happened to her town's folk who never returned from the dungeon above.
4) Another, this time faster, stronger, and more expensive horse, now armored at my expense, after my previous one ran off while I was inside the Harlun's Watch quest dungeon above.
I think i rermember it was the horse armor (not sure if it's this one from your screenshot) in Oblivion that basically launched the (mostly cosmetic) DLC trend for gaming in opposition to making proper game expansions like it was before.

Something i really liked in Oblivion were the factions/guilds quests, they have some really good quests in there

Yeah, the horse armor is what set up the whole paid DLC thing. Of course, GOG includes all those updates, but back then having paid expansions was controversial. As for Oblivion, it's not as realistic looking as Skyrim but it has more visual charm and the NPCs are way nicer and more varied. I love doing business in the Imperial City. And the quests are longer and more interesting. than in Skyrim. In Skyrim the campaign story about dragons is boring and I only got halfway through it before then completing the Thieves Guild and Stormcloak Rebellion quests. Both are good but there's not much left there I find interesting. But in Oblivion, I finished the campaign and am now almost finished the Fighters Guild and it's taken me about 20 hours. Very enjoyable. And I know of other Oblivion factions and quests I'll do in later playthroughs. Skyrim and Oblivion are different experiences but for fun and variety, I prefer Oblivion. The environments are way more inviting also.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Exploring that new cave Lala Craft ran into another grotto with some kind of ancient temple inside.
Those ancient Inca really liked their grotto, or was it the Maya ? for some reason Shadow of the Tomb Raider mix Maya and Inca culture (despite Peru was under the Inca-only area) and try to justify it as if some maya travelled all the way to Peru back in time ...

Anyways, after getting her hands on yet another mcguffin without giving a care to all the prophecy warnings and etc, she basically started an apocalyptic chain of event because why not ?
When one know Lala, she's insane enough to have done this on purpose so she could stab more people and destroy more archeological locations without having to hide too much her true intentions of pure chaos.

Anyways, after getting out of the grotto with the mcguffin, Lala went back into one of their favorite activities : stabbing her enemies, though it's what she said as none could be really sure those were actually all her enemies.

After some meeting with "chief bad guy" (though one could argue that the real bad guy is actually our psychopath Lala Craft) , the apocalypse stuff finally starts and we get some massive tidal wave engulfing the town and drowning thousands of innocent people while the "bad guys" manage to make an escape in helicopter.

As expected Lala was delighted as it's been a hot day in Peru and some swimming in water would be perfect to cool down, though she had to swim between drowned corpses and other dangerous stuff, but in the end everything was actually going the way Lala wanted it to be.

Yeah, she's really utterly insane, even sidekick Jonah that again survived this ordeal was shocked. Lala was wondering how much more time she would have this guy following her before she has enough and stab him in the face.

This looks incredibility chivalrous
Score: 8430!

I was playing Bezerk for the Atari.
I keep getting flashes of 80's culture like neon lights, a good economy and cheesy films on a VHS tape.
The atmosphere sets in as I try to jolt between the x and y axis while shooting a blaster.
The sounds of each kill only make me salivate a vicious addiction for more kills.
So much so that I've become so dead-set on clearing each screen instead of opting for maneuverability.
I know I have an aggressive style of play and I admire myself for it. Anyone can tell with even a glance at
my gameplay that I am set out like a machine killing other machines.

The first waves of enemies are simple, I often times mess up early in the game because of my pent up
amusement and speed from later levels. This wasn't the case this time and I evaded attacks and racked up
extra lives.

So far in this session I didn't make the mistake of hitting the walls as much which count as a death.

Dying every time jolts my head like my head were electrical wires.

But I made it really far this time. My goal was to reach 10K but it is either my skill or lack of patience.
The enemies are set to easy but they are still unfathomably cunning. Purple enemies especially give me
a hard time. I try to shoot before asking questions. And luckily a few know their fate all too well and end up
crashing into walls...their fate was inevitable

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

After her "SurfinUSA" session in the big flood in Peru , Lala Craft took a plane, still followed by annoying sidekick Jonah, to investigate a way to stop more of the world ending events she actually started.

Of course as nothing ever go according to the plan, the plane is destroyed in flight and crash landed into the jungle.
"That's not bad" was Lala first thought, at least this had removed sidekick Jonah from the equation, she was then free to move and explore the wilderness.

While walking completely randomly in the Jungle , Lala found the mountain of the prophecy at a distance, yeah even completely lost she still kick ass in finding more stuff to destroy !

Not too long after the discovery, our friendly neighborhood psychopath ran into some wreck of the crashed plane.
Some tracks here and there seemed to hint that people survived, either the pilot or annoying sidekick Jonah could still be alive, what a pain to think Jonah could still be around, it ruined Lala's happiness completely.

To get herself into a better mood after this depressing discovery, Lala jumped in a river and started to stab a Moray Eel she had spotted underwater.

But the commotion apparently attracted 2 jaguars that foolishly attacked Lala in the hope of an easy prey.

After transforming them into porcupines with a bunch of arrows, Lala stabbed one of the jaguar in the face.
Then to attract the other, she played the "afraid prey" , Lala was smiling when that idiot jjaguar took the bait and approached.

Unfortunately just as she was going to stab the last jaguar in the face, the beast quickly ran away, hmm probably animal instinct kicked in and told the jaguar that it was madness to come that close to Lala Craft.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Disaster ! annoying sidekick Jonah is still alive !
Lala Craft was really disgruntled when she ran into another part of the wrecked plane and Jonah was there with his "piece of wisdom" none was asking him about, the guy is more resilient than a cockroach.

Oh well... it's a jungle, things can still happen on the way to civilization.
Especially when one has a bow and arrows Lala thought and none would ever know.

Though after some thinking she didn't actually took the shot, with all those heavy rocks around in those ruins who know maybe Jonah may have an use, like helping with heavy stuff.

Still exploring the jungle trying to not listen to Jonah non-stop attempts at being a wise guy, Lala started to feel eyes on them.
Something was trailing the duo, very likely some predator as Jonah looked more and more like a walking beefsteak in comparison to small thin Lala

The attack happened a dozen of minutes later, Jonah convenientely got stuck in some ancient building while the Jaguar was then targetting Lala Craft because he had no other choices.

Poor decision making from that stupid beast, Lala transformed the Jaguar into a porcupine by filling it with arrows.
Then stabbed the dying beast in the face.

Lala smiled when she recognized that Jaguar, it was the one she failed to stab previously
"Ha ha , told you i would stab you !" she said while annoying sidekick Jonah was getting out of his hiding place and was rather horrified looking at Lala stabbing the beast again and again.

Maybe he started to realize how much of a psychopath she was.
The night around the campfire , trying to get on her good side Jonah started to tell Lala about his sad childhood, something she couldn't care about even if she was paid, but once he ended his tale, Lala thought that she could give him some nightmare and started to tell him about her own childhood, how she managed to burn her family mansion and etc...

It's true High Fantasy, baby. The Oblivion experience is quite different than that of Skyrim. I can't say one is better than the other but, instead, they're both excellent in their own ways.

It's odd that gog have nearly none of the great racing games that have been very popular in gaming history.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

On her way to the village of Kuwaq Yaku , Lala Craft was happy thinking of how many enemies she would meet and stab there.
Annoying sidekick Jonah was following her , but with how dangerous the environment was Lala thought there were some chances he would fall to his death somewhere.

Luck was on Lala's side too, there were enemies working for the trinity organisation travelling around the path to Kuwaq Yaku , so our tomb destroying psychopath couldn't miss the opportunity ... poor guys didn't stood a chance.

Once she cleaned the area, Jonah was even more horrified after noticing Lala new found loot and was thinking
"What a horrible turn of event, Lala has found a gun !"

After finally reaching Kuwaq Yaku , Lala was rather annoyed that all the people seemed friendly to her, something she didn't appreciate at all, people, talking, what an annoyance for her.

Where were the enemies ? she thought.
She wanted to stab more people but the game wouldn't let her in that village, so she called her annoying sidekick :
"Jonah, make yourself usefull, go and talk to those people and get them to tell where are all the baddies"

Jonah was relieved, Lala had left to explore the wilderness around the village , leaving him finally some time to think about a way to escape this living hell that was always around this murdering Craft psycho.

Is that a mod responsible for Lara's expressions? I remember early Lara on the original Playstation, a pixelated hottie. As for racing games, if GOG really wants to add NFS to the catalog, some were dropped by EA and thus Steam, so arrangements could be made. I'd buy them at full price as I'm sure many other GOG fanboys would!

No it's part of the game "photo mode" , you can change the character expression/poses (though with limitation as in a cutscene you can only change the expression)
Found it way more funny to get the character expression fitting with the psycho version of it from my reports :D (that i find actually more interesting in a way than the terrible story and whining rebooted character from the actual game)

Gog has a big hole in their game genre, "good old games" in the racing category are severely lacking

So many highly popular games series that should be on gog : the need for speed the f1 (from various devs like geoff crammond , psygnosis, ea sports, etc...) series, the forza series, the colin mcrae series (gog had the worst one , 2005 at some point but delisted it), dirt , grid (another one gog had but delisted)

Hopefully they'll get some of those this year with the change of direction.

Heh, Lara's expressions in your screen stood out right away as unusual. A fun feature to add esp. to a platformer. You mention GOG's new direction and I recall around the beginning of the year reading about that. It'd be great to see some popular racing games be added because, right now, there's not much here at GOG. I guess JDM and Formula Legends are about the best here is for now.
Another victory, this time with a BMW in a manufacturer challenge against an Audi.
