Hello everyone!

I was wondering if you wonderful gals and guys wouldn't mind hitting me with a few survival horror games recommendations?

Something like Resident Evil, with inventory management and such. (Limited save games optional :| )

Thank you in advance!
Detroit.
I recommend you give the Alone in the Dark series a try:

Lone Survivor is a different take, but still quite interesting:

Alan Wake is a really great horror/mystery game. Nice story and brilliant atmosphere and use of lighting/shadows. There's no major reliance on inventory management but, depending on the difficulty setting, ammo and such can be quite precious and scarce.

And from what small bits of Amnesia: The Dark Descent that I've played, that has more inventory management but is less action-y. Still very scary though.

Also, Metro: 2033 is another I'd recommend. It doesn't have inventory management in the traditional sense. You can only carry one of each type of weapon and ammo is also quite precious in that game, and is even used as currency, which brings an additional level of risk/reward to it, especially on higher difficulty. Metro is also quite spooky/atmospheric. Lots of fun, too!

And each of these games are here on GoG!

The Legacy: Realm of Terror
Silent Hill 2 and 3 for sure. Silent Hill 3 is really something else. Very much a counter part to Resident Evil, inventory management, similar gameplay, light puzzles.

Dead Rising 1. Amazing.

Manhunt. Survival and horror.

Unfortunately not yet on gog, however I thought Cold Fear was pretty awesome
Not on gog.com (yet, anyway), but Wizardry 4 feels like one.

There is definitely inventory management. There is also an invisible ghost hunting you down, and you get messages from the ghost when it gets near you.

Because you are a mage, your equipment is limited and you have to rely on summoned monsters to protect yourself, and those summoned monsters can't be controlled.

One thing to note: If you want to give Wizardry 4 a try. make sure you play Wizardry 1 *first*. It's also worth noting that you could easily get stuck on the first room and have to look up a solution. (This was bad enough that the game shipped with an insert that had the solution (though I think you needed to do something like scratch things off to read it) to the first room.)
The Middle East?

Elenarie: The Middle East?
Already beat you to that joke in a similar manner.

In all seriousness though, isn't Amnesia considered the best of the best when it comes to survival horror games? I haven't personally played it (I hate horror), but I at least hear it's good.
D2, on the Dreamcast.
But you gotta set the mood, man ;)
It may not fit the genre (so why the hell am I suggesting it?)

Eternal Darkness on the Gamecube
Silent Hill 1,2,3 and Origins
Resident Evil 2,3,Code Veronica,Remake,0,4
Amnesia series
Alone in the Dark series (Cept the remake and the Illumination)
Fatal Frame series
Forbidden Siren sereis
Alan Wake

Outlast. You don't have much of an inventory, but you get a camera and you get to collect a bunch of CIA paperwork for you to study and be creeped out by.
I came here to recommend Lone Survivor, but that's already been done, so...
