Okay so I am looking at a new laptop for my work and away from home related stuff, so I am thinking of getting the surface 3, I like the look of it both looks and specs, while not super powerful it fits my needs, but would the Atom X7 do for stuff like RC1/2, KOTOR1/2, Sim City 2000 - Simcity 4, Dungeon Keeper and some other older games.
I expect it would, although it may struggle on KOTOR1/2
So is this device any good for my needs gaming wise, I wont be buying one of them smart cover things, use a real KnM.

Although some people say that Intel GPU solutions arent good for gaming, they will do fine for many old games. Just KotOR have some problems with some Intel GPUs so they could be problematic. RC 1 and RC 2 doesn*t ring a bell, but i played alot of older GoG games on a worse Laptop ;)
If you can, you should test some programs or games on it or maybe even try to get the 3 pro with the i3 processor, which will run out, because it competes too much with surface 3
