Shovel Knight by Yacht Club Games has a digital manual available, but it is behind a paywall for an additional $10 past the price of the game.
What's the deal with these people?

snowkatt: ghostbusters the video game it somehow sneaked its way back on the pc in august ( with out a publisher mentioned it seems )
and its not on here

blazblue calamity trigger has no multiplayer mode on here

and the updated version isnt to be found on here either or the sequels for that matter
The publisher for Ghostbusters on the Steam page is listed as Atari for North America. I still think that we should do a social media campaign and see if we can get it published here.

Might as well push this again...

Grargar: This is about games that are available in other stores and here and one of the other stores has a superior version when compared to GOG's one.
Well, the list is certainly not meant as an encouragement to buy the games somewhere else (thus no mention WHERE you could obtain a superior version), but rather as a warning as to which devs/publishers can't be arsed to treat every customer equally.

I've added one particularly infuriating case (Luftrausers), where the game can't be completed due to a mission-breaking bug. This was fixed within days of release on Steam, but the dev won't bother with the DRM-free build. I'm sorry, but this is unacceptable. GOG seems to be a good business partner with Devolver and both GOG and Devolver damn well ought to put some pressure on Vlambeer to get their goddamn act together. The thing's been out for almost a year and they still couldn't (or rather won't bother to) patch the DRM-free build. It's a joke!
Added Sam & Max Save the World to the Hall of Shame because of this.
It would be quite welcomed if the following Daedalic adventures were available with the original German audio here on GOG:

-The Dark Eye Chains of Satinav
-The Dark Eye: Memoria

The English voice acting is decent in both games (decidedly better in Memoria though) but I would very much prefer to play these games in their original version.

EDIT: Removed the Runaway games by Pendulo Studios from this post, I was just notified by Grargar that the Steam version of the Runaway games aren't available in Spanish, either, so we aren't getting the short end of the stick here.

Agreed. It was always presumed that it was due to the flat pricing that Daedalic couldn't offer the original audio, but now the games are regionally priced and cost the same as the Steam version (which means they are more expensive in Western Europe than in the US), and still the GOG version is inferior in terms of language support.

awalterj: Same goes for the Runaway series which are originally in Spanish but only available in English & French here on GOG.
In GOG's/publisher's defense, the language choices are the same on Steam.

Thanks for the info, I just edited my post above. Wasn't aware of that!

fronzelneekburm: Thanks to both of you. HertogJan's explanation was so in-depth that I couldn't credit PaterAlf as a contributor. I hope you don't mind, PaterAlf! Do you guys know if this is also the case with the Gold version of Omerta?
My apologies for this late replay, but I can't remember seeing this post before.

In the 4 DLC version all the DLC maps are broken. They have no cars and no citizens on them. The missions on those maps can be finished, but are boring due to this bug.
I can't tell if this is the same for the Gold version.

I can't confirm this as I don't have the Gold version:
- The Gold version doesn't have the game breaking bug with the ending credits after each mission that exists in the 4 DLC version
- The game breaking bug from 1.06 on the Georgia Avenue map is present in the Gold version too. As such the original campaign can't be finished
- The Japanese Incentive campaign in the Gold version should function normally. Therefore, despite the reviews, you can finish 1 of the 2 campaigns
Daedalic and Deponia series: There has been a Linux version on steam for months now. I sent an email to Daedalic asking when we might see the Linux versions here on GOG. Their response:
thanks for contacting the Daedalic Support.

Unfortunately I cannot give you any concrete information about Linux versions on GOG. If you like, I could inform you as soon as something about this changes.

Kind regards,

Your Daedalic Support Team.
The GOG version of Lovely Planet doesn't feature leaderboards or OS X support. Email I got from the developer calls it "inferior".
