Builds that are months (or even years) out of date? Missing bonus content? Other platforms got a better deal?

Please let me know about any game where the publisher/dev decided to treat GOG customers as second-class citizens, so I can publically name and shame them here: http://www.gog.com/mix/games_that_treat_gog_customers_as_second_class_citizens

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
I would like to name EA for Ultima 9, and even though their mistreatment of their customers by the time they published the game earned them some serious back slash, they are a shitty company, and since Ultima 9 is in this site, I might as well mention it

There's Spelunky: no daily challenge in the DRM free version because it's done via Steamworks I think.

As for Cinemaware, I wouldn't paint them with the same brush as apparently their publisher is the one who released the Anthology at the prices seen on Steam. They, Cinemaware, are aware of the problem and are supposedly working to fix it.

Wasn't SpaceCom one of those games that is regionally priced here but flat priced on 11bit's own store?

Omerta - City of Gangsters
The problems with the gamebreaking bug and the unwillingness of Kalypso to create a working patch for the DRM-free version are almost legendary.
Omerta

Bugs since the 1.06 update.
The 1.07 that was supposed to fix the game breaking bug from 1.06 (but didn't) arrived here 9 months after Steam got it.
The 1.07 update still contains the 1.06 game breaking bug (fixed in the Steam 1.07).
On top of that contains the 4 DLC 1.07 version contains a 2nd game breaking bug. That bug can only be fixed by buying an additional DLC or downloading an unofficial fix. I don't thnk the Steam version has that bug.

If they fix it, they're off the list.

And if there are any inaccuracies on the list, please let me know in this thread! I'll try to fix it immediately!

I'm sorry, but this doesn't qualify. EA has earned quite an infamous reputation among gamers, but in all honesty, I can't think of an instance where they treated their GOG buyers any worse than their other customers. Which is what this GOG Mix is all about.

Thanks to both of you. HertogJan's explanation was so in-depth that I couldn't credit PaterAlf as a contributor. I hope you don't mind, PaterAlf! Do you guys know if this is also the case with the Gold version of Omerta?

Might be relevant: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/looks_like_shadowgate_on_steam_has_the_original_game_for_a_limited_time
damn it i wanted to post that

the original games are in effect drm free they come as a installer in the shadowgate folder and you can run and install them without steam

why they are not on gog is silly
Thanks! I'd say it is relevant if a similar deal doesn't show up here in the foreseeable future. I'll wait until the Steam deal is over before I include them in the hall of shame.

ghostbusters the video game it somehow sneaked its way back on the pc in august ( with out a publisher mentioned it seems )
and its not on here

blazblue calamity trigger has no multiplayer mode on here

and the updated version isnt to be found on here either or the sequels for that matter
Super Time Force Ultra has some Steam-exclusive characters.

Is that enough for an addition to the list?
It surely is for me. I didn't buy the game for this reason alone. It is just another way to say "Steam is better and we like to lick Gabe's boots, so we basically don't give a damn about all the other customers".

It does have multiplayer, but not online. Same case as with Steam.

The sequel has yet to be released on Steam (December 2014).

Back to the topic at hand, OlliOlli is missing its daily challenges and Brutal Legend has no multiplayer.

^that sill leaves ghostbusters ;p
Also, GOG is missing the I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream ScummVM update. Depending on who you ask, ( or [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_what_did_just_update_thread/post3396]JMich), this is, respectively, a bad or a good thing.

This isn't a thread where a publisher doesn't release their games here, as I would then make a huge list of what games of theirs are in other stores, but not here. This is about games that are available in other stores and here and one of the other stores has a superior version when compared to GOG's one.

Rise of the Triad is out of date. There are a few bugfixes mixed in with Steam integration.
