Ziggurat has no leaderboards on GOG. "Daily challenge" scores won't load even when connected to GOG Galaxy and launched via the client with the latest update (patch 14) installed (also reported in this thread).

It should be noted that the game doesn't have "leaderboards" feature on its store page, unlike Nex Machina for instance.

Righty-o, fellas! Fronzel's back! And I'm drunk off my ass. Perfect timing to make some additions/substractions to the list. Stay tuned as I catch up with 3 weeks worth of posts!

edit: Ahahahaha, this is even more than I imagined! :D

edit 2: I'm contemplating changing the Hand of Fate description to feature the missing hotfix. However, from the description this fix doesn't seem to be all that vital, ie. it didn't fix the issue it was supposed to fix. So I'm not sure it needs to be included.

edit 3: Included Pharaonic for missing German, Italian and Portuguese language

edit 4: Braid price difference doesn't quite qualify. I'm not sure about including those EA games either. There's this common misconception that I include games on this list because they're cheaper elsewhere. However, so far all the pricing-related issues had to include some really blatant fucking over (ie. you get a game cheaper elsewhere and you get a bunch of games on top that you can't even get on gog - see Cinemaware and that other game with the rabbit on the box art). A bunch of other pricing issues have been named (POLLEN, Rayman Origins, Way Of The Red), should I include those? Thoughts?

edit 5: @omega64: Is The Fall still missing that update (especially considering how they just released the second The Fall)? If so, onto the list it goes! Please confirm!

edit 6: Added Dead Synchronicity (gog offers version 1.0.7 while Steam has version 1.0.12.)

edit 7: Added Amnesia for featuring a bug that makes the game near-unplayable on Win10. This has been fixed on Steam but not on gog.

edit 8: Added Ziggurat.

edit 9: Removed "Gog verson abandoned by dev since 2014." from the Postal 2 descriptions. They're still incompetend fucks beyond belief, but at least we got an update that made the game a little crappier.

Also a big fat +1 for Cavalary and his excellent post!

Thanks to y'all for your contributions and sorry for the radio silence! Glad to see that some of the issues reported already sorted themselves out.

When regional pricing was introduced on GOG it was because (allegedly?) devs/pubs wanted to price their titles the same across all digital stores, and that it wouldn't be fair to them if GOG had flat prices across regions.
Yet, EA, and other, titles are consistently more expensive here, with SimCity™ 4 Deluxe Edition being the worst offender as it came under the guise of being flat-priced. I guess that "the same across all digital stores" is important and enforced only when it leads to price-hikes for the usual suspect-regions.

Even if you don't consider this reason, titles that got a permanent price reduction on Steam, but not on GOG should qualify as treating GOG customers as second class citizens.

I personally think you should stay away from this, if for no other reason that it would drive you insane having to check each game for different price points across the regions supported by both Steam and GOG. Not to mention that prices might suddenly change across either store, making said information potentially outdated.

Maybe he forgot due to being busy with releasing and fixing bugs for that one. I'll ask him about it.

Don't. From what i can tell, games with bugs in their updates not landing on GOG is due to GOG. If there's even the slightest bug in the update, don't expect it live on GOG. I'll explain a bit in a PM.

I personally care less about price disparities because I usually buy games on sales only anyway, and if I feel the price is ok, I don't really care if it is even cheaper in some other store or region (e.g. Russians get their games always much cheaper than me I guess, even in GOG). For example, should we list all games that have at any point of time been sold for $1 in Humble Bundles?

Still, I have some academic interest to the price disparities though, like why do they exist. Some e.g. say that on some regions GOG costs more because Steam uses different regional pricing schemes, and/or GOG uses USD as the default currency, or something like that. It is all kinda complicated, apparently...

I guess it is ok to be on the list for now, but what I understood from the discussion was that this is a bug introduced in some new Windows 10 update, AND Microsoft is currently working on fixing it.

https://bugzilla.libsdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3931

There's this comment there:

Daniel Gibson 2017-12-19 00:34:38 UTC
Google Chrome ran into the same problem and reported it to Microsoft who will fix it "for the next major release", whenever that will happen: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=781182#c15
But I guess it is ok to be on the list until either MS fixes their bug, or the GOG version gets a "workaround fix". Hopefully that workaround fix will still work if MS fixes their bug, or would the game break again at that point? :)

Odd though, that bugzilla report is currently reported as "RESOLVED FIXED"? So has Microsoft already made a fix, and now it is only about it getting downloaded to Windows 10 users in next update? I sent a question in the Amnesia thread to the GOG user who linked to that bugzilla report... Or maybe the status is referring to the SDL workaround then...

Welcome back, Shadow Warrior Classic Complete!

I was made aware of missing Alpha/Beta-builds that were added as a bonus to the Steam version all the way back in May '17 but I didn't include it at the time due to the vague hope that Devolver was going to add those builds to the gog version soon. And then I forgot about it altogether.

Reading about the newly uncovered early Duke Nukem Forever builds reminded me that the early Shadow Warrior builds never made it here, so I'm including them now. Sorry about the delay!
The OS X release of The Wolf Among Us appears to be missing on GOG.

I agree. Just stick to missing bug fixes and features.
Sheltered finally got the missing updates and is on par with the Steam version again.

GOG have stolen my Softporn Adventure for one week, and GOG Support is totally useless (Ticket #222643).

Lolwhut?! Is Lucius 2 releasing this week or something? Not that I'm complaining, mind you, it just takes me completely by surprise.

Removing Lucius and Sheltered from the list! Thanks to gog and the devs for providing these updates!
