While I get your point, this is the most pointless place to post this. It's preaching to the choir.

gameLike1: If we are reaching a amount of posts we could start first shitstorm in a DRM Publisher forum.
They would just ban your ass and move on.

edit: May want to give some thought about coming onto a support forum and saying that you're just there to cause problems.

reedit: I'd point at a recent thread on the topic but it appears to have disappeared. I wonder why....

Thats why, if a number of people post here in this thread we could after a time together start a campaign in a publisher forum or the social media.

Good luck with that............................................

If people want to play a spfecifi game that has DRM, they will tolerate the DRM in order to play. That's reality.

Yes. Again, you've stated that you're just there to cause trouble. There are more diplomatic ways to get things done.

Tell your friends to post here too.

I think company leaders don't really look at forums, and bad PR is more of a standard with most video game companies than the exception.

That said, you could just tell your PC Games-playing friends that they should consider purchasing DRM-free games instead of DRM-filled games. It's a bit of a challenge since it sounds like you are selling a religion sometimes, but sometimes it's as easy as telling your friend "Oh, I purchased it on GOG, not on Steam. Why? Oh, I just like how every game I buy on GOG works better than Steam, so that's why I decided to stick with that :)"

But remember, the more you try to convince people forcefully, the more people will ignore you and keep buying things on Steam just to spite you. If we get to the point where there are 'GOG fanboys' and 'Steam fanboys', nobody will move from one camp to the other and it'll be what most would call a 'shitshow' :D

I believe kickstarter games are usually Steam keys. At least the ones I've seen.

Folks, feel free to check me on that. I've had bad experiences with the platform and no longer use them.

Pfff... the majority did not cared back when it started and now cry rivers because they get shoved mobile game & free 2 play game like lootboxes and micro/macrotransactions both together up their ass in their brand new 60 $ / € AAA games (or rentals).

You are a decade to late. Also what Pheace said.
