I picked up LEGO Indiana Jones 1 and LEGO PotC.
They're pretty hard to find on sale and I had enough money left in my steam wallet from selling trading cards.
I'll be buying the expansions for Bioshock 2 and Infinite. next friday, shame GOG can't get these Games.

I'm sure I posted something last night about this. can't remember..

Hope you get a bargin in the sales [gog / steam or whatever]

Leroux: Has anyone played Watchdogs? Is it really that bad? And what kind of bad are we talking about? How should I imagine the gameplay anyway? I hardly know anything about it except that you can hack into stuff and read people's private conversations ...
I didn't played it but from what i've heard, the story is bland, the protagonist doesn't have charisma, the game follows the Ubisoft design (mission padding), the hacking is simplistic and doesn't offer too much in terms of gameplay.

Perhaps next year i'll be lucky and the game appears on ps+...
I got a code to giveaway for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky since I've it already, here you are the code, first come first serve:

Good luck and have fun.

Very nice of you, but I already have it.

+1
Got a question for Steam users on a couple of games on sale.

Salt

It looks like there is going to be a stand alone version for this, if you buy it on Steam (sale), do you also get a Key for their site where you can get the non-Steam version?

7 Days to Die

Pretty much the same as above, plus is there a Single Player Offline mode or is it online only?

So like Assassin's Creed, but even more boring? ;)

Well considering Assassin's Creed are the greatest games in the history of the universe, stating another games is "more boring" must surely be unavoidable!

I have been looking forward to watch dogs since before it was available. Apart from a rather.. lukewarm reception suggesting the game is a lot more "empty" than it should have been, I've not been put off an eventual purchase.

Of course when that day comes I'll buy it on uPlay. Most may call me mad, but if I have to have DRM to play a game I want to play, I'd rather have as little of it as possible. The least DRM comes from buying uPlay games directly from uPlay, so that is what I will do.

..you know.. eventually.

Same goes for Far Cry 3 (fantastic game), Far cry 4 (have not played it yet), All the Assassin's Creed games (see opinion above), and as much Sam Fisher (and other Tom Clancy Awesomeness) as I can get. Not to mention Child of Light, Rayman etc. Ubisoft may be jerks in a lot of areas (seriously, a lot) but they also make some of my favorite games of all time. ALL TIME.
I got Victor Vran yesterday for about €8, enjoying it immensely, its kind of like Van Helsing done right.
I already grabbed some nice games in the Steam summer sale so i can't complain. :D

Games bought so far:

Despair
Fortune Summoners
Half Minute Hero: The Second Coming - Time Goddess' Treasure Pack
Momodora III
Unhack:Destruction
Wasteland 2 - Classic
Wizorb

Trading Card money spent: 27,41 €

I can't complain about the GOG summer sale either but only spent 10,14 € (and traded for 2 games) so far.

To be fair, I've only played a bit of the first, and I like it, that is I want to like it, but it gets old pretty fast. I think it's what Cyraxpt meant with "mission padding", it feels too much like copy/paste stuff, doing the same things over and over again. I have to admit I liked activating radio towers and liberating outposts in Far Cry 3, but in the first Assassin's Creed it feels so bland and pointless to me after a while. And I don't like how the main missions work, it feels too disconnected to me to just collect 3 of 6 clues, and sometimes collecting them on the side before I even know what my assignment is. But of course, it's just a matter of taste I guess.

Regarding UPlay, I agree. I hadn't even thought of that, since I did not really intend to buy Watchdogs now, but if I do one day, I'd certainly prefer UPlay to UPlay on top of Steam (even though "prefer Uplay" sounds like an oxymoron to me ;) ).

Leroux: To be fair, ...
The major complaint of the first game was it felt too "same-y". I never understood that. I've played, and finished, and enjoyed, far more repetitive games. Different strokes and all that. I absolutely adore stealth, and I loved how Assassin's Creed made Stealth fresh again. I'm still a tad bitter that it the original games was supposed to be Splinter Cell Conviction, but they changed the setting to a new IP instead for some reason. Of course, I think the Anamus is a vital and integral part of the series (most people hated it, and still do), and am increasingly disappointed that it has been used less and less with each game. :(

Earlier in the year, all the assassin's Creed games accept Unity were 75% off on the uPlay store. I was seriously conidering buying all of them, but at the time I had no Hard Drive, so I passed. I purchased a Hard Drive a few weeks later and have been waiting for that 75% off to come around again. I'm Still waiting. I would have thought right now would have been the time. Nup. The wait continues.

ooh. More information if you would be so kind?

I've been meaning to pick up the Helsing games for yonks, but I have no one to play them with me. I'd never even heard of Vran until I saw it in the sale yesterday, but It's definately now on my radar. If I ever have friends, of course. Some games just feel like they.. need that co-op to really deliver.
Castle Crashers is very temping at that price but I also woudn't be surprised if it get's bundled within 1-3 months.what to do what to do...
