It's been way too laggy, not to mention even as a clicker it feels unrewarding. Once the next sales day starts in an hour or two you'll be reset to 1 anyway (with some extra bonus points or something based on the level of your Summer sale badge (highest level you got))

I have fun playing The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing on Steam and am tempted to buy the 2nd game which is on sale now.

However I bought the Steam key for the first game on Gamersgate and would rather wait for the 2nd game to get on sale again on Gamersgate before buying it, so they can sit neatly together in the GG library. Is it a common thing I wonder, if you've bought part of a franchise on a particular digital distribution site, to avoid buying that franchise on other sites and keep it all on the same store? How about you?

But isn't it just a Steam key in your GamersGate account, a key you've already redeemed and therefor has no worth anymore? In that case you'll have both games listed alonside each other in your Steam account, no matter where you buy them, while your copy on the GamersGate shelf is just an empty shell without use, isn't it?

It is, but it'll be two empty-shells-without-use together on the shelf, making the shelf look nicer. I often check what games I have on Gamersgate and even though some of them are just reminders of a game activated on Steam, it still looks nice, those empty cans with nice pictures.

I'm a collector, too, but I've gone one step beyond that, stopped worrying about store collections and put all my games on one single shelf in my database application. Now I don't need to worry anymore where I buy what. ;)

Has Arx Fatalis or Outcast been on sale yet? I was away all week in a barbaric internet-less camp and they're the last main ones on my wishlist.

Arx Fatalis is 50% off for the duration of the Steam sale, but I don't think it was among the daily offers.

Outcast 1.1 is -25% right now (and until June 22), but I am pretty sure that it is one of the diary milestones for today.

The Steam servers are broken right now and the milestones does not show...

But it was also one of the unlocked milestones, so if you wait half an hour, it'll probably be discounted further.

And what is the point of that stupid clicker game when it's so laggy, you could click on a monster for five minutes before it notices it's dead? All it's doing is creating more traffic for the servers.
Not a good experiment unless you actually make it a good game. Come on Valve, surely you can do better than this mess?
