wolfsrain: Same stuff as DS2. Same bugs as the original, the texturing stayed the same. Quick cash grab.

The worst thing is that they've announced they won't support the original version anymore and only YOSE will be updated. That was a spit in the face of the people that supported them since the beginning. The extra charge for practically what is some bug fixing and minor improvements it's not justified. If we start to pay bugfixing, that's a big no-no. We already play the role of paying beta-testers, seeing how many products are released lately in an unfinished, unpolished state. I don't see why i should pay for the dubious privilege of having a working version of the game....Especially when they could just update the previous version properly. The rest is corporate bull. Funny how some of the small companies learn so fast that kind of talk.
It will take a kit if effort from the consumer to make these habit disappear. The principle of supply and demand stands, and if there is no demand for it, then it should fall. But what baffles me is that this is an anomaly. There is no demand for paid bug fixes. None at all. And they still get lots of sales, thus what they supply gets bought and brings in revenue. This is how the demand is created. By sheep who don't know better. I always imagine that one jackass whose parents give him too much money for his own good and who buys every single one of these atrocities because he can. I've gotten so sick of these corporate strategies I wait for AAA games to reach 20$ or less for me to buy them. I rarely get one at 30$. They better be high quality for 30$.
Not giving more of a discount to owners that also have the prior DLC was a dick move.

But in general I don't mind the existence of these editions. If you enjoyed the original game enough, then get the new edition, if not stick with your original. These are simply complete editions with a few non-essential incentives for prior owners to buy, they are not paid bug fixes. There is nothing wrong with the original editions of Dark Souls 2 or State of Decay.

The practice of withholding complete editions in order to sell DLC forever at inflated prices, like Bioware/EA, is much worse than something like this.
Never buy AAA games at more than 20. I can wait. I'm a patient man. And i still have plenty of games to play or replay (might seem stupid, but i am in love with Fallout 1/2 and M&M7 - those never leave the hard drive). If a game is damn short, better have a great story (Spec Ops: The Line or Binary Domain are two such games that i thoroughly enjoyed, but i bought them at a low price).

I love the whining on the Early Access, as most of the Steam users do not understand the very basic concept of the damn thing (which is purely anti-consumer: the user pays for the alpha/beta, is beta-testing the game and still might end up with a bad product).
Eh, i enjoyed of what i played back on the 360 so i'll buy this (pc) whenever gets cheap since it includes the dlc, improvements and i'm sure that the frame will be wayyyyy better than the 360 version.
I know that they're doing a mmo thing with the franchise but it would be neat (and even worth the price) if this new version had coop...

Just noticed this and after checking it is apparently true, no future patches for the people that actually funded the friggin game :(
