cogadh: The Trek license is spread across so many publishers and devs that it will be difficult to wrangle some of the games, but the fact that GOG was able to work things out with Interplay and CBS/Paramount is a huge step. In fact, just getting CBS/Paramount to agree to anything at all is probably the key to getting Activision, Simon & Schuster, Hasbro, etc. to offer their Trek stuff. For now, I think we can only realistically anticipate the other Interplay titles showing up, but even that is pretty awesome:

Starfleet Command
Klingon Academy
New Worlds
SC 2: Empires at War
SC: Orion Pirates
Star Trek Pinball (okay, this one might not be so awesome)
Was New Worlds actually any good? I've read some people posting postive things about it here on the forums but I remember that the game was pretty much panned across the board by ST and RTS fans alike.

Honestly, I have no idea. That is the only one of those games I've never played (yes, I've played Star Trek Pinball).

If that game is what i think it is..mixed emotions..
Compared to other RTS like C&C..nope..not that good...
BBut since it is Star Trek..yes..ok..
I think to me it was a bit like them trying to get on the RTS front as well..
I was hoping for the 2 or 3 to be on par with stuff like C&C..but it never happened..
In any case, if it's on sale some time here, it might not be the worst spending of cash..

btw..although the sales prices are FANTASTIC right now..I'm still feeling drained..
Like alternate ending to Enterprise being sucked into anomaly and whereas in the series,
LaForge (NG's Scotty) is maintaing enough output to stay in the event horizon,
my Picard (tiny part of my brain that says go here buy that etc..) says..sure let's go in instead..

-watches wallet go antimatter explosion.. D:

- counts pennies where there used to be bills.. DDD:
