they could be removing one after another, starting with fallout, then descent, then who knows they could be shutting down and leaving the gaming world... becoming only a licensor

Bad speculation there, bub.

Fallout titles aren't Interplay anymore either. Not on the promo today even.

Get your facts together, man!
This is some kind of bad attempt at trolling, right?
If that was the case, the whole Interplay catalogue would be gone already. I mean this is what? The fourth or fifth Interplay sale this year alone?

That's why I was a tad pissed this is evidently the secret promo. XD

I hope we are jumping the gun on that.

Well, not just that but the license already was transferred to Bethesda like 5 months ago. My shelf shows all those games as "Classic" versions where the versions on the store aren't.

They haven't been paying royalties to one dev (that we know of) and because of that you expect them to cut off their source of income? That makes no kind of sense.

Different scenario entirely. The rights to Fallout were bought by Bethesda, which required GOG to renegotiate with them to get them back (which they are now). Even if Interplay goes completely belly up, their assets will be bought up by other companies that GOG can make deals with. Hell, GOG would be one of the companies fighting to buy those assets.

EDIT - Same thing with 3D Realms. GOG is already negotiating with Gearbox to get Duke back.

Regardless of any of that, yet another Interplay sale is evidence of nothing more than GOG trying to make money.

well no one like interplay these days they gave away giants citizen kabuto for free, fallout lawsuit suck em dry of funds, and well we have descent underground, who needs interplay anyway
