What? The graphics are great. Did we actually reach a point where crappy pixel art and creepy anime eroded people's sense of aesthetics this much?

I was supposed to buy nothing untill I've cleared out much more of my backlog, but damn, I just couldn't pass on a classic like this.

And Children of Morta AFAIK was only published by Polish 11bit but devs are from Iran.

It looks like 1000s of cheaply made adventures of the time. It looked ugly in 1998 and it looks ugly today. I'm asking if the puzzles are "clever" as claimed at least, and I appreciate the presence of the dubs! I don't like what is conventionally sold as "anime" outside of Japan. And I don't like crappy "pixel art" either. Ugly stuff like this was and remains ugly per se. It doesn't need the existence of different kinds of ugly to be ugly.
To make a comparison, Blade Runner is a good looking adventure from 1997, one year before.

Those hand-drawn (or hand-drawn-like) graphics look great. They exude personality and soul. I hope the puzzles and story live up to them.

We've got Succubus. We've got Agony. I have no idea why we don't have Lust From Beyond. Great Polish developer, David Jaffe even left Sony to work on that game. And it's pretty good! I hope we can get it up here, it just seems like the kind of game GOG would want to carry.

A lot of incredible, innovative games have come from Eastern Europe, in fact, I'd go far as to say they are just like Japan as far as having a large footprint in the gaming industry, though Japan is much more homogenous with their releases compared with Eastern Europe, at least from what I have seen!
