So is this a hint that Activision is going to finally release a few more games here?

Though at the same time with all the news the company has been making the past few weeks I don't know if I want to support them

This is Activision were talking about. I don't think not wanting to support them by buying newly added games here will be the issue. Newly added games however, ..

Edit: Forgot about the recently added Star Trek games :(

The Activision discounts have been severely lacking and it keeps getting worse and worse. No idea why they've become so stingy when in the past, their games regularly had 50-75% discounts (looking at you, Bloodlines 1), but it definitely does not help with the sales I imagine.

The latest Star Trek games released here have Activision as the publisher, so I think those count as such.

What's not new are these discounted prices, no matter how many sales we got: 20% for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, 35% on Soldier of Fortune and 50% on Timeshift, just to name a few.

Activision being Activision.

As for Bloodlines, you can blame the Bloodlines 2 announcement. The moment it hit, it never surpassed a 35% discount, with most of them being in the 20-25% territory. Funny how a game that already failed and is stuck in development hell also screwed the original....

How about releasing that otherwise unavailable Warcraft 3 + FT(in its original glory), eh Blizzard/Activision?

Maybe you could chip in Starcraft and Diablo II as well.

If you want our money, of course. Otherwise we'll simply keep it. Ein't that a shame though? All that spare change hanging heavily in our pockets? :P

Yeah, and Activision doesn't even have anything to do with the second game! But what's more is that on Steam, and other stores that sell Steam keys, the game gets a 50% discount. For whatever reason, GOG only gets 20% now. Another "treated as a second (or even third) class citizen", even on discount %.

Makes me wish I just bought all the Sierra games on my wishlist years ago when the discounts were higher and I was ignorant of how terrible Activision-Blizzard were.

I too must say that these ridiculous discounts to games that are now museum exhibits don't entice me to buy anything from Activision.

If only they would release all their Battle.net held hostage games with LAN and single player I would buy them again. They can even call it a "Hands off at the office, Hands on at gaming Sale". But I suppose when you replace women with fruit you have other priorities we gamers just don't care about.
Still lackluster discounts for Soldier of Fortune, Warcraft and Diablo...

Some of their games are 20+ year old, have an excessive original price and must have the least decent sales of all GOG.

That plus the very negative infos of last months. Actually them shredding evidence in panic mode I found funny in a sad way, but I don't want my hobby associated with that really.

For me Blizzard/Activision has failed as a company, badly managing its employees and its games (butchering Warcraft 3 for short term profit, going through all their assets to change with silly new assets anything that could trigger anyone, etc.)

Actually, I'm relieved: looking at my backlog of shame that keeps expanding, I can add a new criterion which will helps me buy less games: avoid such morally questionable companies.

Prices are not so low for some really old titles...

I'm going to write a number.

0.

This is the percentage of money I should deign to want to go to Actipuddle at this time, until full restitution and atonement has been made for their foul deeds.
