tfishell: btw, just a few days ago Civvie 11 released his "Pro Doom 3" video, which isn't super informative (somewhat tho) but pretty entertaining. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NorcX8Xp7uw
"Found" his channel a few weeks ago after somebody mentioned an FPS reviwer on Youtube lending a character in Postal 4 their voice.
Was that you, by any chance?

bougt Wolfenstein: TNO and Dishonored 1 yesterday. Wolfenstein seems like a fun shooter and Dishonored is simply amazing!
Too bad Dishonored 2 is hot garbage (imho) and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is too...I can't explain it, but it just doesn't tickle my fancy :P

I'd love a Wolfenstein 2009 release though, probably my favourite entry in the series. :)

I don't recall doing that here, but yeah that's Civvie. He can be kinda annoying and whiney at times tbh (imo), but his Pro series is often great because he can be pretty enthusiastic

I enjoy most of his videos, but yeah, he sometimes moans and rants about minor details too long, which is intended I guess.

Watched a few of his and GManLives' videos and bought a couple retro shooters afterwards.
So if it was you that mentioned him, thanks! :)

no problem ;)

I prefer Gman because imo he whines less than Civ and puts out reviews quicker, but, again, Civvie's passion and knowledge during his Pro videos is fun (he often talks about who worked on the games, and for id software games he jokes about how smart Carmack is and what a troll Romero apparently can be), and his videos are almost always longer than Gman's. It's kinda addicting to watch gameplay highlights without having to play myself.
Checked some let's plays of the newly added games ( Dishonored / Wolfenstein series ) and changed my mind .
