It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

richlind33: The main problem is that all of the major retailers are craven bootlickers that won't sell "naked" PC's, but if you're willing to take the time to build your own rig, not only will you save yourself the expense of having to purchase another exorbitantly priced win license, you will also have a MUCH better system.

Desktops FTW! ;)
Indeed, that's the only way I've acquired brand new PCs is by building them customized to my needs. That's not everyone's forte nor within everyone's capabilities or patience mind you, but it gets me the best I can get for my dollar. I lucked out on not having to worry about a Windows 7 license as a friend had a license pack that worked for 3 PCs and only needed 2 of them so I got the 3rd provision for free. :) Not that I couldn't afford it or anything, but it's not so much about parting with the money as it is about who ends up receiving it. :) As it stands now, I can't see myself ever needing to buy a new Windows license again ever, which is a good feeling.

dewtech: If you have your key, I believe you can download an upgraded iso (with SP1) from Microsoft legally.

sunshinecorp: Don't even need the key.
https://techjourney.net/windows-7-8-1-10-iso-official-direct-download-links-from-microsoft-tech-bench/ shows you how to javascript your way into downloading many windows ISOs from MS Tech Bench. The downloads are available legally its just that MS has limited the use of that site to W10 ISOs only. Well... not if you know your javascript, apparently. :P
You still need a key to activate, but this is the easiest way to get your ISOs.
Nah, I'll use my MSDN license.

Are there Pro versions? Does it work as a Retail license, with unlimited motherboard installs? (as long as it's one only at a time)
