There's a guy on Youtube, who makes Vlogs everyday or so. What's sets him apart from all the other millions of Vloggers out there is that his Vlogs consists of him telling something that already's been happening. I like that idea.

HOWEVER!

Guy acts like he's one of the most famous persons in the world. And yet he hasn't even a million subs. He has about 800.000 something. And also, everyone he meets on the streets greets him like he's the greatest guy they've ever met.
They all act like they're his friends or whatever. He's just a little shit in America for god's sake.

/Rant. I so needed that off my chest.

Sorry, different generation. What are Vlog's, Vlogger's? (Perhaps video logs?).

"Vlogs consists of him telling something that already's been happening" - isn't that just the news.

As for your rant, yes, unfortunately society has developed to such a pointless peak and its about time some other species took over.
What? How? What?

You know what a blog is? Kind of like a diary. Vlogs are video diaries.
"Today, I put peanut butter and strawberry-rhubarb jam atop a chocolate graham cracker. It was quite tasty"

"800,000 people like this."

I'd start to feel famous after a while, too.
I don't know, if 800,000 people knew who I was, I'd probably feel pretty famous.

Anyway, yeah, it's interesting to see how many people are completely hooked on social media. I'm old so I fail to see the point of following someone on youtube (hell, the only reason I ever even access it is to check out the occasional song or band) or facebook or twitter. And for some reason I just can't take the title 'youtuber' seriously - even though my youngest daughter says she wants to be a 'youtuber'. I shudder at the thought.

Ah, I see. So instead of wasting storage somewhere on text about one's mundane and frankly pointless existence, one can create a stream of pictures as well, taking up more space. Yay *donk* (sorry, that was my head bouncing off the table.

800,000 people is almost a million people, dude. Most people go through life with nobody liking them...

Ghostbreed: Exactly.
And that sets him apart from umpteen gajillion Vloggers out there how exactly?
So who exactly are you talking about?
Some people make vlogs, and some of them have an ego.

Actually, I had one person in mind. Then I realized all vloggers are the same, no matter what I wrote in my OP.
