Long story short, there is a copy of Deus Ex on GOG which awaits an owner.

Requirements:
Tell me why you haven't yet played Deus Ex (or if you had, then skip to the second part), and why would you want to play it.

To my shame even if I've bought it during some sale, I didn't got around to play it, yet... but it moved up a lot on my to-play list after musing about it with P1na over a beer.

Also don't forget to thank P1na for his generosity :)

I will end this sometime before the weekend so that you can go and play Deus Ex while waiting for The Witcher 3 :P
Hm, maybe I should install it again. Oh wait, I never uninstalled it in the first place...

+1 good Sir/Madam/little furry creature from Alpha Centauri

*sits back and relaxes*
I played the original DeusEx.
I brought a used retail game(a neighbor was moving and wanted to throw away few CDs) but didn't played it till the DuesEx Human Revolution arrived.
At that time I was new to gaming and I didn't even know what made a game good.
I used to play it for 1-2 hr on my friend's PC when ever I visited his house.
He got moved and I never able to played it again.
When I got my own PC, I tried to install it and found out the CD got corrupted.
It's one of the best game oldies I miss most.
I have played Human Revolution but still find DuesEx had better story line.
I would love to have it here on GOG.

+1 for giveaway.
Not In but +1

I remember playing the original copy of this game, man I couldn't of been happier when I sold it back to the shop. :P
Not in.

I owned 2 disc copies of Deus Ex GOTY version. Then I got a version on Steam. Then, thanks to the pineapple, I got a DRM-free GOG copy. Woohoo!

I have played the first map maybe 37.64 jazillion times and the Hong Kong map at least half that. I've finished the game only a handful of times, although I played the cave encounter with the other augmented dude a whole bunch.

I played with the HD texture pack, with New Vision, with Shifter (mods). Then I played The Nameless Mod.

I like this game.

A lot.

like spuddie i played the game and it did not grab in any way what so ever at all
NOT in. +1 for both of you :)

I played it when it was released, but never really understood why people thought it was so great, heresy on my part I guess. I never finished the more recent version either.

I'm not sure if I've ever heard about this title before. };-)
I tried it on PS2 one day I rented it for the weekend, but I played it just a little bit. I don't remember so much of the game.

But I know it's good.

Not in, I was in another Deus Ex giveaway. I forfeit. Sorry!

According to Deus Ex Wiki:

Deus Ex: The Conspiracy is a port of the original Deus Ex onto the PlayStation 2.

The game mostly consists of the same dialogue and area layouts as the PC version aside from some minor changes: e.g. the layout of Liberty Island. This was due to the fact that the PS2 version had smaller sectioned maps compared to the PC counterpart.

Other notable changes are the fact that the game uses pre-rendered high polygon CGI cutscenes during the intro and the three endings rather than the in-game graphics that the PC version uses. This, along with the slight improvement of the game graphics, are largely considered to be improvements. Despite this, the PS2 version of Deus Ex is often overlooked and is far less well-known than (and largely thought to be inferior to) the PC original.

On May 16th 2012, the game was made available for the PlayStation 3 as a PS2 Classic; but only in Europe.
This said, I don't remember much of the game. I'm not very fond of FPS on consoles, but at that time I had a very old PC which couldn't run games of that age, so everything I used to play back then was on PS2.

Yikes, it sounds like Resident evil 4 on ps2. Which was awful lol
Thanks for making this giveaway. I'm in.

Why the heck does this game never go on sale? I never got to play this masterpiece.

I would have bought it in a heartbeat if this game went on sale due to my tight budget but it never does.

it's like there are some games destined to never go on sale on gog like arx fatalis, sin gold, deus ex, chronicles of riddick etc. :(
