VALVe is becoming a monopoly, monetizing everything they can, and are dictators on their forums deleting people's concerns.

I read one person who said the Steam forums used to be like gog.com's forums where hardly any moderation happened and it only happened when people were doing scams, thefts stuff like that.

It is time for VALVe and Steam to be dethroned and gog.com to take over.
So GOG can be the monopoly instead of Valve?

We don't need anyone to "take over," we need a variety of distributors that people can and will purchase their games from. And this isn't going to happen until consumers stop playing the "team" game with their chosen outlets. Which is difficult to do. Hell, anyone here who brags about buying exclusively from GOG is doing the same thing, and would be the problem if the tables were turned.

My ban has been lifted, but posts still gone, not sure if its still being worked on, but im guessing they're probably unrecovarable =/

good that you got unbanned not sure why you need a apology , the fact that your posts are not showing up still shows what you posted was not just a negative voice but also was poor

Gabe responded to some comments on reddit and he answered one about the censorship here.

edit: It might actually be in response to kijin from this thread, the reddit username is similar.

nice looks like they are in damage control mode , which is a good thing for those who got banned. Hopefully they resolve the mods thing in way both the community mod creators and the gamers are happy.

Same for me, posts are gone. They should have kept the ban on me and kept my old posts.
