jamotide: Its all over the internet, the guy should be glad that someone wants to try it at all. Which I don't.

"offending post" ...that would be yours right? Just edit it.
Grimoire will never be a finished game worth playing and Cleve Blakemore has stolen money.

This is how it stands today and based on 17+ years of bullshit odds are it isn't going to change.

Retracting my other comments about this vaporware, it's bug infested super demo, etc.

I'm sorry you were saying you are better than others?

I accept your apology!

dirtyharry50: That fucking post needs to go and yeah I am damned mad.
I agree with DirtyHarry (but I'm not mad at Crosmando though, it starts from a good sentiment). I didn't backed the game whatsoever.

Posting that link publicly is a bad move, even if it *could* help to have more feedback, if too much people give uneducated feedback (like myself if I were to dl the demo and play it without any prior knowledge of what this is about) you will just have a lot of non-information on the dev side, which in turn will just slow things.

You don't want to slow that project ;)

Potzato: I agree with DirtyHarry
You shouldn't. It's not like he posted some super secret link only known to backers. This link is on the official indiegogo page of grimoire, for everyone to see.
And the dev who posted it there is of a superior species with a IQ 183, it is impossible this is a mistake. And if it bothers you two so much, just tell him.

Not sure why u getting knickers in a knot. Its a FAILED project. BOTH of his shots at it FAILED. I completely forgot i backed one of the failed ones and can see the link to the superdemo (Thanks to Crosmondo for bringing it to my attention). I also see nothing on any of the tiers which mentions a demo or beta or alpha backers were to receive anyway. So he is throwing that demo out there anyway.

Well, if you use a QI test with a standard deviation of 80 and an average of 100, it is fairly reasonnable. Numbers have power, he seems to know that. He may even be a wizard !

dirtyharry50: He posted it there with the clear instruction that it was for pledge donors only. Also, his Indiegogo page is not a place that is likely (other than with say, the codex crowd interested in the game) a place that would get anywhere near the visibility of just about anyplace else related to gaming on the net, such as the GOG forums.

It doesn't matter though. The guy clearly asked us not to do it. There's nothing to debate.
By clear explanation you mean the NSA stuff? It is obviously a joke. And if you really think this thread has even a fraction of the attention this game gets at that rpg forum you have some deeper problems than random forum aggression.

Yes this issue is not debatable, since it's clearly the devs choice to post that link to a DEMO openly. But what we are debating is YOU rudely berating the guy who told us about it.

So why don't you tell him, instead of insulting people for talking about a PUBLIC link? It's funny, by trying to get it removed you are actively sabotaging the PR of this guy you are trying to help.

Actually since I'm a nice guy and before you embarras yourself further, I will just tell you that the dev himself quoted a newspost with the public download link in that other forum, so I'm pretty sure he does not need you to save him here. But thanks for your amusing outrage.
