I have to admit I liked Peter Molyneux's games. Perhaps because I didn't really follow game media that much back then, at least not for most games. I've seen some interviews with him, one a few months back. I think he genuinely was just a guy that needed PR to protect him. Game devs generally have a ton of good ideas, putting them out there before they are actually implemented is what hurt his reputation because most good ideas end up on the chopping block.
