Most movies are shot in 24 frames per second, or sometimes 25.

Should you play your video games in 24 FPS to maintain that effect?

I have considered playing my games at 24 FPS, but unfortunately not many titles allow you to set your Vsync to that number.

Do you believe that video games lose their cinematic effect at above 24-25 FPS?

Maybe our video game experiences would be superior in 24 or 25 FPS?

What do you think (without being mean, like someone here previously)?

You should try it and tell us afterwards how it is. If an authority like you recommends it, a lot of other people will eventually also do it.

Here we go again !
Are you a Ubisoft representative ?
Do you let someone else play your games to maintain that cinematic experience? I've never actively controlled the content of a movie/series.
There's a point somewhere in what I wrote.
Sure, the less the better.
I prefer 1080p/60fps. Simply not enough nowadays, awful as some would say. Heh.
Anything above 8fps is for casuals!

In my day, we were lucky to have 1fps, and we liked it! (Actually that's for real: Flight Simulator II on the C64.)

It's not possible to respond seriously without being a bit mean, since the concept of this topic is very stupid, and I suspect you know that. Weren't you told not to post troll topics?

Or 3D Construction Kit on the same machine. Fascinating nonetheless.

I only have these jaffa cakes. No Grudge buns.
Movies and video games don't provide the same experience. There are legitimate, artistic reasons why some works are better in 24 FPS when intended. Here's an informative essay for 60 FPS animations. 60+ FPS in movies also becomes extremely expensive to edit too. By making the movies too realistic looking through more frames, it breaks the immersion that you're watching a movie.

You're more than welcome to play at 24 FPS. I have found a decent spot at 75 Hz, but will be moving onto 144 Hz shortly once this GPU shortage ends. I would never play a game below an average 30 FPS nowadays.

I'd have one, but that would probably get me banned for cultural appropriation...

Grudge buns are the international intellectual fast food nowadays. I'm sure there are some available near you.

Nope. It may be shocking but we have other things too. May have something to do with the original Wonka factory... may not.

Nowt to to with those Oompa Loompas though!
