If you really, really want it here, then I suggest you don't wait further than October, as the developer gave an estimate that it shouldn't take longer than 1 month to release here. Otherwise, just buy it on Steam.
Well it'll probably be slightly cheaper here.
Steam has actually working achievements and time tracking, but if you don't care about that you might as well get it here.
It's always more exciting to get a game on GOG though since you're never sure when/if you'll get updates and DLC.
No.

Buy it in here, download it, put in on a flash drive, go to the 芦笛岩caves and play it there.
Man that should totally rock!!! You chinese have the best caves ever! :)

Exciting? Oh, I get it.
People will tell you to buy it here just because of this anti-DRM stuff. If you REALLY want to play it, buy it on Steam. Your enjoyment of the game should be a pain in the ass as you wait for it to be released. Just do it. Games were made to be played, not stored and admired on a pen drive. :)
If you want to support GOG and/or care about having the game DRM-free, then wait. If you don't mind DRM and are happy with buying from Steam, then you might as well get it there.
Why not wait for it to reach a decent price? 20 USD is insane for a digital game.

That being said, I'm watching that one myself. Hope it gets to a good price later.

;p glad you liked it
A bit biased place to ask.

In the end, it's up to you.

If it were me, I'd buy it on Steam. USD is unreasonably high, that alone kills the potential of other places since they're all selling with USD price tag.

Only Steam with IDR, and much cheaper price tag while we're at it (generally, except titles from Ubisoft or Activision for example).

Edit: just checked out the game, well no, on second thought, I wouldn't buy it anywhere. It's too steep 20 USD price tag, not enough quality for me.

That said, I'd wait myself. It's gonna be buuunnnndlllledddddddddddddd.

For a digital game, 20 USD is quite a bit. Especially when I can go to a thrift store and find many great (and admittedly, even more not so great) games for a fraction of that price, and those will be physical copies. I have a hard time justifying even 10 USD for a digital game, but 20 is all out ridiculous for digital.

Are you kidding?. RRP of games over there from what i can work out is around $40-50USD. Here its $79.99 AUD. Thats RRP. To expect digital games to be $10 USD or less is a tad unrealistic...
