I purchased 3 games tonight, and after purchase and confirmation, those 3 items are still in my cart. Anyone else seen this? I did an Account Refresh but the items in the cart didn't go away. I guess I'll have to manually empty the cart myself? Just curious.

I guess this pre-Witcher 3 bizness has got their servers hopping!

UPDATE: yeah this is definitely hosed. I have a "3" next to my shopping card (still) so I clicked it and a window drops down that shows the 3 games I bought earlier, and a button that says "Checkout Now". That takes me to a page that says "YOUR ORDER IS EMPTY". In other words, I can't clear this myself. I didn't try putting a new game in the cart, but I'm hoping GOG will clear this up this week.

UPDATE 2: I just managed to clear the "phantom shoppingcart". First I went into Chrome and the cart was empty as it should be. So then I went back into Firefox (default browser) and went in and removed all the GOG cookies. That didn't immediately clear up the problem, as the cart still said "3". But I was able to drop down the cart, hover over the first item and click "Remove" and that cleared out the cart!

It happened to me, but refreshing/continuing browsing the store page put it back to 0,
Well as long as you have the games in library and proof, why worry it'll get
fixed up sooner or later..
I haven't bought any games for a few days, yet The Witcher 3 insists on popping up in my cart, even after managing to empty the cart (and the "remove" link doesn't seem to work from the forum pages). Yeah, there's something weird with the cart at the moment.

I purchased Expeditions: Conquistador, d/l & played for a bit (All through the GoG Galaxy client).

I noticed I still have a "1" next to my shopping cart icon. I clicked it and a window drops down that shows the Expeditions: Conquistador game, and a button that says "Checkout Now". Clicking on that takes me to a page that says "YOUR ORDER IS EMPTY".

I logged in to my GoG account through a web browser and none is this behavior is visible there.

I went back into the GoG Galaxy client, moused over the shopping cart icon (1), moused over the Expeditions: Conquistador popup, and a <Remove item> text spawned to the right of the game's icon. Clicking <Remove item> successfully cleared the entry and all is well!

Thanks for the info, but I'm not doing the whole Galaxy-client-thing, so hope they get it fixed soon.

I suspect they added some new code to Galaxy that broke the web, but are too busy Witch3ring to fix it now.

You can manually clear it on the site too. Just hover over your cart, then over the item(s) in your cart - you will see a "remove" link (for each), click on it and you should be good.

I had the same problem as the OP, and the manual "remove" didn't solve it (not clickable while visiting the forum, and didn't do anything while clicking it on checkout page).
However, as of today, my cart is empty again, so it seems they did fix it :)

I don't think so, it just in [url=https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_what_did_just_break_thread/post354]a number of different ways.

Funny you should say that, since after I clicked your links (just now), my shopping cart was full again.
However, it seems to fill and empty now somewhat randomly...
So, yeah, not fixed, still displaying some odd behaviour.

Deleting all GOG cookies solved the issue for me.

Thanks (I kind of figured that might work, but was a bit lazy ;) ). It did clear the cart, but Interestingly enough, I can still "fill up" the shopping cart by clicking on one of the links HypersomniacLive provided. No idea why that might happen?
It doesn't seem to be the case for all links either (clicked two at random, shopping cart remained empty).

Sounds too bizarre even for GOG.

Mine has been doing the same thing. It will stay gone for a bit and come back from time to time...
It goes away when I go to the "Order is Empty" page and seems to stay away. But comes back inexplicably later. Using "Chrome" fyi.

Ah, okay. Was wondering if it was firefox-related...
Found two more links that fill the shopping cart, btw, but can't be bothered to research this any further.
Maybe it's just gog's way to remind us to buy more games ;)
