Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms received a hotfix on Sept 2 2015 for the Tholean tablet quest on Steam ; has Gog updated there installer with the fix ?

Not yet. The latest update on GOG was August 28. I expect it'll be here next week.

P.S. This really belongs on the Heretic Kingdoms subforum, not the general forum.
