See: https://www.gogdb.org/changelog?page=1

Examples:

Dying Light
Mortal Kombat
Unreal Tournament GOTY
Cannon Fodder
Far Cry
STAR WARS™: Dark Forces
Commandos
Medal of Honor
Singularity
Chaos Engine, The
Wolfenstein 3D
Quake III
Quake 4
Unreal Tournament 2004
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Rune Classic
Quake II: Quad Damage

According to the titles affected my guess is that there could be some sort of "censorship" involved.
(Sorry if my wording seems to harsh, but as non-native speaker I don't know how to put it better.)
Can't imagine those titles popping up again here soon.

No forum comment of a blue whatsoever. I'm slightly disconcerted...

I really hope I'm wrong.

Those games (and more) are regionally-locked for German IPs.

I'm going to start off with, "You're in Germany." That's a pretty big deal. Right now, across the west, countries are going nuts with regulations about what kind of content is banned. Turns out, German law banned these games, so they're unavailable for you. I'm curious if you can even view the gogmix about it. I can confirm these games are still available to non-germans.

Shouldn't they get unblocked, by the way ?

Given the legal transformations Germany ius undergoing (if I understood right), GOG could go ahead and lift the regional restriction already.

If you are talking about this, then no. Keywords are "case-by-case basis". Which still means that every publisher (and not GOG) will need to submit their games for recertification, which can cost up to several thousands of Euros, if Bethesda is to be believed:

Well, I *KNOW* I am in Germany, but I thought https://www.gogdb.org wouldn't care and report changes for everyone...

Example:

https://www.gogdb.org/product/1443699418#changelog

Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Changed access - Public ⇒ Unlisted 2018-08-15

"UNLISTED", not "BLOCKED in Germany/Australia/Japan/..."
Doesn't that mean, that it is now no longer accessible for anyone?
(Except you already own it.)

Sorry if got something wrong here, it just looked like that. (Maybe it's just a mistake like some days ago, when several games got delisted and relisted again.)

Edit: typo

Edit2: Maybe soneone sitting in another "not-so-nanny-a**"-country could check?

all i can say is that either they need to start marking them as blocked, or if they already do that for some titles, then we need to understand that their checker might be in germany. Return to castle wolfenstein is currently 5.99USD.

No, the games haven't been removed from the store. I can access them normally.
Okay, then I hereby officially admit that I was wrong. Sorry for the hassle!

I really love(d) GOG, but nowadays one could think GOG is capable of pulling such a stunt...

As long as I get my DRM-free installers I'm happy (and don't really care for the rest).

Perhaps the server hosting the GOG DB is located in Germany. You could ask Yepoleb about it on this thread.

Regarding games being marked as unlisted, it happens sometimes... most of them are glitches, but there have been some actual accidental unlistings in the past, which were corrected by GOG.

Thanks, good point! I was unsure whether to post it there, but I'll ask.
Perkele Merkele!

You Germans should really vote for more gaming-friendly and less control-freaky decision-makers. If I was Hitler, I would denounce Merkel and put in power those Turkish guys who made Far Cry and the Crysis games. They seem like cool guys, at least judging by their games.

We inform users when games are being delisted from the store.

"Perkele Merkele!"
Looks at Google Translate ==> LOL!

But I would rather say: Less politics, more (DRM-free) gaming!

(But not exactly now, the weather is fine here, i'll go outdoors now. Gameplay there is quite unbalanced, but graphics are *really* good!)

Thanks for your reply Linko90!
Again: Sorry, no offense, I overreacted a bit.
