If you haven't checked Steam page then you might have missed that Workshop is mentioned there.

If you have but you want 100% confirmation please ask the developer on Twitter or better yet on Discord, all the links are in post#6 and post#28.

Lead developer of Selaco here! First of all, thank you all so much for the kind words. I know developers say this all the time but reading this stuff is truly uplifting and motivating.

Just to clear the air: I never confirmed nor denied a GOG version! Currently, a Steam only release is planned because I am a solo programmer (the rest of the team are artists) and putting all the focus on one platform makes things easier for me to manage. Rest assured, I am more than willing to do a GOG release but have yet to do research on it.

The priority right now is working on the game itself and making sure that it's as awesome as we can possibility make it. I'll dive deeper into distribution methods when preview builds are send out.

There's a fair share of (free) post-launch content planned and I'm not too sure how much development time will be lost if I have to maintain two different versions.

To be continued!

EDIT: August 25, 2255 is not a typo. Watch the first gameplay video on our steam page :)

Thanks for responding! I wish you the best of luck with the game. Hopefully it will be successful enough to be on multiple stores. Games which actually use an old game engine have always felt more "genuine old school" in all the right areas to me than just another "let's throw Minecraft textures into Unity Engine" release.

Thank you Wesley, I'm glad I started the thread now! By the way, if you contact GOG and ask they can upgrade your forum account to Developer so that the word "Developer" appears underneath your name and your forum post text is bright orange to stand out. See this example for Larian. Thanks again!

Ugh, why must you do this to my poor wallet?

Just kidding, can't wait to play the game. Good luck with the release and thanks for your efforts of bringing it to GOG as well :). It's awesome news for us non-Steam users.
Its strange to see what is a truly antiquated piece of software like the Doom engine is still getting new titles released using it when you could achieve far better results much easier using something like unity or unreal 3/4.
