And remakes, as it seems, even if they are being made by official studios that belong to the brand. Pity. Sad. A real waste. They could revive all of their fans and successful, past franchises. After the Streets of Rage Fiasco, Golden Axe remake was shut down, too, doomed to remain forever in its prototype version. Too sad, because they could make money with this. And win fans, especially the old ones, back. Outrun, Shinobi, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage. Those poor sobs used the copyrights to bury those gems of the past forever, AND prevent ANY other amateur programmer work on them individually (heello streets of rage remake).

Too bad once Sega had been one of my favorites. I totally regret it. They have no dignity or self-esteem, now they are nintendo lapdogs.
sega is dead
the sega we all know and love is dead
it died in 2001 with the dreamcast that sega is dead and gone

whats emerged in its stead is something wholly different
inferior maybe but its not the sega of the megadrive saturn or dreamcast anymore

Hear, hear. The last thing of value they created was a blue hedgehog that turned into a cartoon show. Then they got out of the (risky) enterprise hardware business and started milking other franchises by stamping their logo on the front. Shame. Damn shame.
Sega has no idea what's it doing anymore and that has been the case for many years. They were Lucky a few times with some excellent games otherwise they would have been gone already...
No wonder it all went to the dogs, with Segata Sanshiro dead and all.
If you think I'm giving up my Genesis Mortal Kombat rom THINK AGAIN!
Yeah the old Sega is dead. I do enjoy playing Sonic Racing though. Great game!

The SEGA is dead. Long live the SEGA!
Sega disappointed us a long time ago. They ruined their Sonic series. They brought death to their famous franchise (the best example is Streets of Rage series). Sega is a dead/undead one after Dreamcast era.

I remember they forced Streets of Rage Remake team to remove download links just after a few hours of SoRR 5 release and It seems Sega forced them to abandon SoRR forever. :( Sega had a chance to recruit SoRR team to revive and reboot SoR series.

Sega is a loser. Compare them to Nintendo. Sega lost this game to Nintendo and Sony. After Microsoft entered, Sega became history forever.

Sega is not a big name in video game industry anymore. Today, SEGA is sega.
R.I.P. SEGA.
I don't think the world needs any Golden Axe or Streets of Rage remake anyway.
True not the same Sega anymore, though i have to say has much as i love Sega, they never had any idea of what they where doing

I know I'm gonna get ripped for this, but I ALWAYS hated the Sonic series, and hey, you can't polish a turd. :P

To each his own. Sonic 2 was a religious experience for me. Then again, it was played day and night for several weeks straight by me and my best friend while we were high as shit on speed. Fitting game, I suppose. When all you've got is a good friend and speed, Sonic the Hedgehog on SEGA Genesis makes for a good time waster.

theyhave done som good and greatgames after the 2001 exit
but those are few and far in between

these days sega is content with resting on past glory or reliving it ( sonic and re re re re re re re releasing the same 16 bit titles over and over and over again )

what i want are saturn dreamcast and arcade titles but thats never gonna happen

LOL... I like Tails and Knuckles, not Sonic. :D
Just like Super Mario. I like Wario, then Luigi and Bowser. No room for the Mario. ^o^
