Nemorian: To my Secret Santa: My brain broke for about ten minutes trying to process what happened, and I freakin' love you for it. You're amazing and... I still can't think well enough to express enough gratitude. I wish you the best Christmas and new year ever~
Yes, that's nearly how I felt... although tears of happiness were involved ;D
All right, I've finally caught up with all of the posts made since Momo started handing out presents.

What an amazing amount of wonderful people we have here on our forums, and I have a special story to share. I heard it on the radio yesterday, and it made me think of all of you. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did ♥

A Christmas Story for GOG's Finest

I hopped on the computer whilst I waited for sis to get here to share Christmas with us, and saw my Secret Santa presents. I was so stunned that I forgot to look and see who sent them! That moment alone would have made my Christmas, but then my day really started. Everyone was so very happy... Such a great day!

Merry Christmas to you all~!
A huge thanks to my Secret Santa! Looking forward to a real internet connection (currently tethered to my phone) to download and play them. What a great dilemma..........which to play first. ;-)

Another huge thanks to Momo and all the elves. What a nice way to spread some extra Christmas cheer!

Thanks to all who participated, I hope you enjoy/enjoyed the holidays!
Merry Christmas to everyone and thank you to my Secret Santa for the nice presents. Looking forward to playing them :)

BranjoHello: In all honesty I never finished Deity without serious save/load abuse (except in scenarios). I kind of hope "get away" with some-but-not-much save/load tricks this time.
I managed to finish OCC in Immortal without loading when things don't go in the right way and that is my biggest Civ5 accomplishment so far. But I consider myself an Emperor Civ5 player as in that difficulty I'm confident I can win under any conditions.
If you're interesting in playing Civ5 multiplayer add me on Steam and we can play sometimes. :)
I don't own it. I played it a lot when a friend got it on Humble Bundle. It was great, but I had already burned myself out at that point. I know I shouldn't expect myself to be awesome, but with all Civs since the 1st I've struggled at difficulties higher than normal (Prince?).

Momo1991: Thanks for allowing me to host this amazing event this year (next year I am hoping nmillar picks the reindeer reins up again - that or someone equally as qualified to drive this heavy sleigh).
I'm not sure you would consider me equally as qualified to drive this heavy sleigh, but if you or nmillar do not want to run this next year, then I will gladly give it a go and continue this lovely tradition. I've always wanted my own reindeers :-).

Of course, if you were not hosting the event next year, you would have to join in as a regular Secret Santa, and let someone gift you something for a change :-).

Before CiV, I thought I'll never play any Civilization game above Prince myself, but look at me now (Not much to see, just a fucked up masochist, I should really stop playing Deity for good, this is torture! XD).

After the awesome boys/girls-giveaways I could not imagine many people more worthy hosting this wonderful tradition.

Thank you, but I think you give me too much credit. There are many people on here more worthy to keep this wonderful tradition going than me. I am simply offering my service if the previous Super Santas don't want to run it next Christmas. If someone else better suited or more preferred offers to do it then I'm okay with that.
