ddickinson: Thank you, but I think you give me too much credit. There are many people on here more worthy to keep this wonderful tradition going than me. I am simply offering my service if the previous Super Santas don't want to run it next Christmas. If someone else better suited or more preferred offers to do it then I'm okay with that.
Yeah but the offer to take up that tradition and manage (hopefully next year's) more than 100 Santas and additionally the elves, thing that go wrong etc..

I think that alone is totally worth a little upvote here.

That's ddickinson's way to avoid receiving gifts next year.

Damn! You caught me out. How did you uncover my sinister master plan :-).

But seriously, that is not the reason I offered, but I won't deny it is one of the perks ;-). Besides, my Secret Santa was soooo generous this year, gifting me more than I ever expected, so I won't mind missing out next year.

Watch out for the mad gifter, though, if you try to avoid being gifted.

That's true, but unlike Momo, I don't have a Steam wishlist, so he is powerless to just ninja gift me. And after my slight slip-up during the Winter sale, I will be extra careful to not mention any games, just to be extra sure I remain un-gifteble. Something I am sure will drive the mad gifter even madder. :-)

I guess this settles our little conversation in the other thread then. ;-)

Momo1991: Snip.
If real life allows it, then I fully intend to take up the reins once again next year, but I wouldn't be adverse to a little assistance if people should wish to help sprinkle a little Christmas magic in 2015. There's been some really good, fresh ideas brought to the table for this edition of GOG Secret Santa, and you get a real sense of energy and enthusiasm when you read through the thread. and it's all thanks to Momo1991's monumental efforts.

2014 has been a turbulent year, but life is finally looking like it's starting to get back on track, so here's hoping that 2015 will be a great year, not just for me, but for every single person that has taken part in this thread. It doesn't matter whether you're a seasoned veteran of the GOG Secret Santa tradition, or you're a first time participant this year - you are the ones who makes this event so great every year. Look forward to seeing you next time.

That's great to hear that you will be taking the reins again next year, although I was hoping to finally get my own reindeers :-). I only offered in case you or Momo could not do it, but I will gladly step aside and let one of the previous Super Special Santas do the job, you are better suited for the task, and I'm sure next year will be just as fun as this year.
