Unfortunately there's not a way to make this totally anonymous, as I am familiar with my giftee. There are a lot of sale options. I will assume no awkwardness will arise.

IT IS NOT TOO LATE to get in on some Secret Santa action... just post a wishlist and agree to buy a game for another person... it's fun and it's easy. Plus you can be an Early Santa and get your giftee while the GOG sale is still running - just say so! Otherwise, final giftee lists will got out on December 14th with gifts to be received by me on December 20th.

I would join this, but my wishlist is far too short and mostly all the higher priced stuff, so I'll just stay on the sidelines this year. It's kind of like me IRL too, I'm pretty tough to buy for because if I wanted it, and it was reasonable in price, I will have already bought it for myself.

In a funny(?) side-note my daughter does not want a Christmas at all this year either, she insists on no gifts, tree, decorations etc... she's quite the eccentric young lady.

No Xmas? Well I do enjoy eccentric peeps ;-D

Yea, not sure if it will fly though, but so far nothing (decorations) is up and at least I know neither her nor I have bought anything for anyone... But I'm sure I'll at least get her something to piss her off if nothing else :)

Okay, so, as a father of an eccentric kid (similar issue in teen years, she hated 'the commercialization and rampant capitalism of a pointless pagan holiday') I found a way to short circuit her issue. I went with one gift, and made it useful to her situation. When she got all pissy and protested I pointed out it was not the season doing it but a father providing for his child out of love. I got her something she could not afford but I could, and it was not symbolic but functional. Mine was pretty stubborn so I had to go to pointing out that things were cheaper due to sales so it made financial sense to get it then as well. Good luck!

Btw, I will be loading up the tree at any time that works for you Santa's - so send your gifts now or later but send em by December 20th! If you're an over-achiever in the gifting department, you may send a gift now and later add another. Or you may collect your gifts and send them in a pile... I am easy ;-p

Hmmm is she "pen pals" with mine? The argument sounds very similar, good reasoning on your part, maybe I'll steal some of it when I get her something and she attempts a protest as well.
